The villa is situated on the hills at a height of 2,500 ft (800 metres) above the traditional Spanish Village of Iznajar and overlooks the largest lake in Andalucia (Embalse de Iznajar). The views from the house and terrace are stunning - 180 degrees of mountain and lake. In the East is the high Sierra Nevada (12,000 ft) which can be reached in 1 1/4 hours for Skiing in Winter, Walking in Summer. In winter the snow is clearly visible on rhe high Sierra. The villa has a large terrace and private (unheated) swimming pool and a lovely veranda under the arches where meals can be eaten in the shade. There is a Table Tennis Table in the Veranda. There is also a table and sunshade on the terrace and a BBQ. The villa is accessed by a good (but quiet) road 3 Km above Iznajar which can be seen clearly below from the terrace. The property has three bedrooms (2 with air conditioning), all with a view of the lake. There ae 2 bathrooms (one en suite with Bath, Sink, Shower, Toilet) and the other is downstairs with Sink Shower, Toilet. There is a Lounge with TV and DVD and Broadband, and a Dining Room for six people. The villa has an excellent mains electricity supply and heating is by gas (bottles). Water is currently from a 5000 litre tank but currently all houses on the hill are being connected to the mains water supply. The work is ongoing. We should be connected within 2 months. There is a 30 metre concrete road to the villa and cars can be parked off road at the base by the road.
