This is a top floor apartment on the 5th floor with two lifts in the building. The location is away from the noise of late night revelling, and at the back of the apartment block, away from the road noise. The apartment is well equipped with bedding, towels, and beach towels provided. Sun beds and Umbrella are also provided to take to Playa del Cura beach, which is a 5 minute walk from the apartment block. There is Los Locos beach too, which is about a 10 minute walk. There is a good supermarket, - Mas y Mas - located on the ground floor, which has a small stock of English food. A good choice of restaurants and bars is available within a short walk, with our favourite - Tutos - which is a friendly Spanish Restaurant/Bar providing very good food - and is open from breakfast to whenever in the Summer months. There is also fantastic choice of eating places on the promenade at Playa del Cura beach. The promenade is very popular for an evening walk, and in the mid Summer months there is plenty of entertainment. A bus service from across the road, will take you to La Mata (a market every Wednesday) , and a short walk will take you to the bus stop to Torrevieja Town, the variety of restaurants/bars and shops and a large market every Friday. Although no car is 'needed' to get around, parking is available at the front of the apartment block although the area does get quite busy with cars during July and August.
Casa Ellen at Villa Laguna is a neat, tidy and compact 1 bed 2 reception room ground floor poolside apartment reached in 30-40 mins from Alicante or Murcia airport. Villa Laguna is situated on the El Chapparell urbanisation next to La Siesta and nearby San Luis. Essentially, Casa Ellen is designed as a holiday apartment for short stay rentals but can easily be used for long lets for 2 people.
The top terrace apartment is situated close to the famous and very popular La Mata beach, with a brilliant view to the Mediterranean. We have a wonderful sunrise and the sunset. We have two terraces, one outside the dining room for 6 persons and a very big one one the top (80 square meters). On the top terrace we have a big bar which can be used to prepare food and drinks, a barbeque, open fireplace and warm and cold water machine. Up there we also have a refrigerator and kitchen equipment for 9 persons. A table for 8 persons with a big parasol as well as sunbeds and sun chairs. On the terrace we also have a big Billiard table for playing.
La Mata is a lovely, typical Spanish village with restaurants and bars situated within 5-10 minutes walk. Close to our village in La Mata is also the famous natural Park. Only 3 minutes walk to the famous and splendid La Mata beach.
