Nestled between the orange groves in the heart of the Costa del Azahar Oliva is the perfect location for a traditional Spanish holiday. Oliva is a quaint old town dating back to the 16th century, with the Castle of Sana Anna dominating the skyline. With two church squares and local bars and in the newer part of the town, shops, restaurants and many bars. A local Friday market is worth a visit as is the many festivals that take place throughout the year. For sun worshippers and families the 10 Km of beautiful blue flag beaches are a must . Oliva Nova Golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros is only 8 km away. Gandia and Denia are a short drive away and provide excellent markets, shopping and leisure facilities. The surrounding area of the Costa Azahar is abundant with wildlife, flora and fauna and the protected Oliva-Pego marshes provide superb stage for walkers and birdwatching.

Valencia is only an hours drive to the north a great day out with old and new architecture to be admired.

The ground floor consists of the kitchen, utility, bathroom, living room and dining room. A spiral marble staircase leads to the first floor where there are three bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms and a twin (bunk-beds), All the bedrooms have wardrobes and drawer space. Bedding and towels included. The full length fully tiled terrace, with lighting boasts a covered summer kitchen, equipped with cutlery and crockery, contains a fridge, an electric hob, sink (hot water), a portable BBQ, two tables with chairs, sun lounger’s and a shower. The house is equipped with heaters and fans on both the ground and first floor.

Lovely and hospitable house : August 2012

We spent our vocations staying in the house in August 2012. Traditional Spanish house will not leave anyone indifferent. The house is equipped with all the modern conveniences but retains the atmosphere of the ancient old town Oliva. Open air terrace is great, it allows you to enjoy hot Spanish nights, admiring the landscape. There are lovely clean beaches nearby. There is a very old ruined castle near the house and the view from the top is fascinating.The house is located in a very quite street in the centre of Oliva and all the shops and bars are close to it. If you want to spend the unforgettable, full of enjoyable impressions rest - go to Oliva and without doubt stay at this nice and hospitable house.


Lovley spacious townhouse in a nice quiet street : June 2011

I have stayed at this property several times over the years as it is quaint & has everything you wish to get out of a holiday. The house itself is very clean, comfortable, very homely & decorated to the highest quality of furnishings. It has a very large terrace which is fantastic to chill out on with that cheap bottle of wine! The location is great as it has the charm of the "old town" but walking distance to shops, bars etc. There are several beaches nearby which are fabulous & never cluttered at all. Highly recommended to stay at Casa Emandal.


Personal impressions of Oliva : May 2011

This is a lovely place to stay. It's in a quiet, typically Spanish street but close to numerous bars and restaurants. There really are too many to mention and cater for all tastes. It's an old house that has been brought upto date but manages to keep its old world charm. It's well equipped and very clean. We were fortunate when we stayed to witness one of the many religious celebrations they hold in and around the town and it was a joy to see. The weather was perfect during our stay and there are many fans within the rooms to keep you nice and cool at night. There's an old ruined castle just behind the property and the view from the top is well worth the walk. Worth special mention is the huge sun terrace, it has the sun virtually all day and has it's own small kitchen up there for food and shelter. Very innovative. We will definately return for another visit.


Splendid character house in quiet street in Oliva : April 2011

Have used this property several times in the last four years. It is in a very quiet picturesque street in the old town very clos e to all the excellent shops bars and restaurants, and of course the beach is in easy reach. Comfortably furnished with excellent sun terrace and summer kitchen ideal for outside summer living. Superb place to stay.
