This property is a perfect romantic hideaway and a haven for peaceful relaxation with sea and mountain views.

The penthouse apartment is furnished to a high standard with marble floors throughout. Because of its proximity to the beach, there is often a pleasant breeze providing a light and airy feel. Air conditioning is provided with in-built heating for any cooler evenings out of season. There are two tranquil and private roof terraces enjoying excellent views and decked with pots full of colourful plants and climbers. The large terrace is totally private and with sun loungers is ideal for relaxing and sun bathing in total seclusion with the sound of birdsong from the adjoining eucalyptus trees. It is perfect for alfresco eating, barbequing and dinning by candlelight under the stars. The smaller terrace off the main bedroom is perfectly positioned for sipping champagne whilst watching the sunset over the distant mountains. Within walking distance in both directions there are a number of beach bars and restaurants. In one direction is the beach and pretty port of Cabopino with several restaurants and bars including Andy’s Bar. Nearby are other facilities including supermarkets, chemist, banks/ ATM and hotels….the famous Don Carlos is 5 minutes away by car. Marbella is a short drive away and there are many golf courses nearby and numerous other leisure activities. The property is a good touring base to explore this interesting and historic part of Spain (Malaga, Seville, Granada etc.) or for trips to the mountains, Gibraltar and North Africa.

The kitchen is well equipped and includes oven, hob and microwave although the barbeque probably gets more use than the oven! There is a good size fridge and freezer so no need to be constantly shopping. To minimise packing there is a washing machine, clothes airer and lines (everything dries quickly on the terrace), iron and board.

Within easy walking distance in one direction are the beach and pretty port of Cabopino with several restaurants and bars. In the other direction are several beach restaurants. Nearby are other facilities including supermarkets, chemists, golf courses and hotels. The famous Don Carlos hotel is 5 minutes by car. A very large choice of restaurants lie within driving distance as do the fashionable shops and malls of Marbella, some 10 minutes by car. For those seeking night life, plenty is available within Marbella and its surroundings. Good skiing exists (in season) in the Sierra Nevada mountains near Granada, within 2 hours drive away. Beautiful Apartment : July 2014

It was second time, we rented this beautiful apartment, The caretaker, Lorraine; met us in the apartment, and gave us instructions and the key. In the fridge there were some cheese, herrings (we are danish), butter, water, and homemade chocolate cake and bread. There also were a bottle of Cava.

Everything was as described.

This apartment can only be recommended in class one. Only 5 minutes walk will bring you to good restaurants, and in the opposite direction 5 minutes walk to the beach, Both Lorraine and John is very attentive as hosts.

Stunning penthouse apartment, fantastic location! : June 2014

This fabulous penthouse apartment was everything described and so much more! Beautifully maintained and equipped, it is perfectly located for one of the most unspoilt beaches in the area. The apartment is very clean and spacious, tastefully furnished and has a stunning private terrace which we enjoyed immensely for sunbathing by day and dining/relaxing in the evening.

Despite arriving very late in the evening, we were warmly welcomed by Lorraine, who was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Our original enquiry was responded to within hours by John, the owner and he was happy to accommodate us in any way he could. His only request was that we might water the beautiful terrace plants - an absolute pleasure at the end of each day, I have to say!

Cabopino is 10 minutes drive from the lovely restaurants and shops of Marbella Old Town and 20 minutes from the famous Puerto Banus but it has several excellent restaurants in and around it's own port and marina.

We have stayed in Cabopino a number of times before, but never in such a lovely apartment. We have been delighted to recommend it to family and friends and we look forward to returning again very soon.


Luxurious, private and comfortable : October 2013

The balcony blew me away - I wasn't expecting it to be so big and completely private. The apartment is very comfortable with memory foam mattresses my usual few days of post-holiday back pain were a thing of the past.

Would recommend to anyone looking to get to a lovely unspoilt bit of the South of Spain!

Just a quick message before going home to let you know how much we have enjoyed your apartment in the sun! We have been extremely lucky with the weather- no rain for the fortnight - wonderful! We've made full use of the great terrace, for breakfast and BBQs at night. Lorraine was very helpful both when we arrived and with a minor problem (the electric gate wasn't working one day but was fixed the next- we just walked up to El Rancho for dinner) The welcome pack was great especially the Cava!

Well furnished and set in a beautiful little community. Great views over the pool and even to Africa over the sea. Hotel standard cleanliness upon arrival and a decent TV. Thoroughly enjoyed a cool beer on the private terrace on more than one occasion during my stay. Very close to major cities and all that goes with them but set in a nice quiet area. Still close to good food and a local supermarket. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes the South of Spain but doesn't want to stay in a crowded area.

The apartment exceeded our expectations in all areas. It was well furnished, clean and ideally situated for the beach. The large shared pool was never busy and we were frequently the only ones in it. The pictures do not do the apartment justice particularly the extensive patio area with stunning views.

We will certainly visit again and our friends were also really impressed and are also considering making a booking next year.

It is situated in a quiet residential area with numerous beach bars and restaurants within walking distance and it is only 5 minutes walking distance from the beach where the sea is shallow and suitable for young children. The beach is a designated naturist area but we found the majority of bathers were wearing swim wear. We did not find the naturists intrusive and our teenage children soon got used to the flesh on display, indeed it opened their eyes to the variety of shapes and sizes around and by the end of the week they had they revised their opinion of what is considered 'normal'. Not a bad thing I think.

Cannot speak too highly of the accommodation, if you want great apartment in a great location this is one to consider.

I've visited the area several times and have stayed in lots of bland apartments. This penthouse in contrast is beautifully decorated and is in a picturesque location with views of the surrounding hills, the Med and on a clear day Africa. The real selling point is the huge terrace which is totally secluded. Put simply the photos don't do it justice.

I like the place so much its the first place I try to book when I'm visiting and have already been out 5 times. There's plenty to walk to and is close enough to the motorway if you want to go slightly further for a day trip.

A beautiful and tranquil location within easy walking distance of the beach. The apartment is of a high standard, very comfortable, and well maintained.

The roof terraces offer total privacy and enjoy spectacular views of the sea and mountains. The apartment is located within a small complex, with landscaped grounds and a very good pool.

The main roof terrace is an excellent sun trap, which makes it perfect for alfresco dining. The terrace also enjoys a welcome gentle sea breeze when the temperature is very high.

There are many good local restaurants and bars.

This apartment is certainly a place to relax, "far from the madding crowd". It is also an excellent base to explore places further afield, such as Marbella, Seville, Granada, Gibraltar, Rhonda and Mijas.

Marbella offers a range of excellent shopping malls.

Excellent customer service.

Highly recommended apartment.

We stayed at the apartment with our 2 year old having previously visited as a couple. On both occasions we enjoyed a wonderful stay. The apartment is ideally situated for visiting Marbella as well as the many coastal resorts nearby. The large roof terrace enjoys marvellous views and was the ideal place for our son to play safely in his paddling pool whilst we relaxed.
