This lovely 4 bedroomed house is well positioned in the middle of the old town or pueblo, so you know you really are in Spain. It is great for families or friends or a couple. There is a great selection of restaurants within 5 mins walk. The nearby church square and the High St - Calle Major - are attractive traffic free areas where families meet and children play, and many happy moments can be spent sitting outside with a glass of wine and some tapas. The house is generally peaceful due to the absence of traffic and businesses in the street. The roof terrace is perfect for a spot of sunbathing or a lazy breakfast with fresh pastries and fruits bought from the local covered market just up the road.
The sea is a 25 minute walk away in the bustling port area which has its own beach. Beyond that is the wide sandy beach of the Arenal. Frequent buses if you do not have a car. Beniconnect service will get you from airport to a drop-off less than 5 mins from the house. There is parking nearby if you do have a car.
The house provides an attractive holiday home and its location makes it suitable for all seasons.Great views from the roof terrace to the Montgo and further mountains in the distance
A museum, an excellent library, art galleries and the beautiful San Bartolome church can all be found in the surrounding narrow streets.

This is a beautiful part of Spain with a kind climate. In late autumn the trees are heavy with oranges - Feburary is the month for almond blossom. How to get there: Fly to Valencia or Alicante - Monarch, Easyjet, Iberia, British Airways Ryan Air amongst others have frequent services. Both airports are about an hour's drive from the property. If travelling overland from the UK allow 16 hours minimum of actual driving time from Calais (see www. viamichelin.fr) for route details. The nearest ferry is at Bilbao (or Denia for Ibiza and Majorca).
Further details: A traditional Spanish home with Tosca stone walls features and tiled floor throughout. Gives the true feeling of being in Spain. The interior has been rebuilt to a high specification to provide a welcoming home. The house has an open wooden staircase thoughout, making it unsuitable for anyone who has problems with steps, including very young children.

Guest BookJuly 2012. ... the outdoor area has magnificent views of the Montgo and looks over the old town. It is quiet and peaceful yet so close to shops and amenities. The old town of Javea is a real experience with plenty going on for all the family. Don and Valerie.
