This spacious and comfortable villa is situated on the edge of the Montgo Natural Park area, just outside Javea. It has panoramic vistas of the mountain and surrounding countryside. Recently entirely refurbished to a very high standard The décor has an Oriental feel, with Moroccan furniture, fine paintings, rugs and other artefacts..Within a short drive or walk the local friendly supermarket can provide high quality meat (the butcher speaks English) and most basic products. There are several restaurants close by, offering a good menu for around 9 euros per person.
Large light & airy open-plan sitting/dining room. From here an outside terrace overlooks the extensive pool area. Special care & thought has been taken to produce a highly modern, practical & well lit kitchen.. There are 3 double bedrooms each with ample wardrobe space. 2 with double beds, ( 1 with en suite bathroom), the third with twin beds. The 2 newly appointed luxury bathrooms help to make this as ideal for a long stay as for a holiday. A large covered terrace to the front of the kitchen is just the place to enjoy the morning sun or a glass of cool wine in the evenings gentle summer breeze. You may prefer the splendid pool area with its ample sunbathing spots. A purpose-built Summer/outside kitchen completes the al-fresco scene.
The Costa Blanca is a diverse region with plenty to offer. Typically Mediterranean azure blue skies. The sun shines for more than 320 days a year, but, without the extremes of heat and drought of other regions and with a gentle Summer marine breeze, Natures perfect expression of green prevails. This undulating countryside with its abundant vegetation and vibrant colours creates a dramatic landscape just waiting to be discovered. There are fascinating inland drives on winding roads with breathtaking views. Rural villages cling to the hillsides, many Moorish in origin, offering an unspoilt life, tranquillity and warm hospitality. The coastline has innumerable picturesque ”calas” (small bays) which nestle between impressive wooded capes. Leaving Javea, travelling north, just a few kilometres away, the Montgo Mountain gives way to its final stunning expression. .... The Moorish hilltop castle, is not to be missed, with its archaeological museum, view of the harbour, the old centre & a soft coastline with a wealth of sandy beaches. There are charming winding streets, a coloured market in which to barter, a shaded main street with scores of chic shops, cafes & restaurants where the local catch of fresh fish can be sampled . From the harbour a fast ferry can take you to the Island of Ibiza in under 2 hours. A little further north, one hours drive away, is the beautiful city of Valencia. Reached also by train from Gandia, the city boasts amazing architectural interest including historic buildings, museums of modern art, antiquities, ceramics etc. There are splendid tree-lined avenues, a main harbour, an ultra- modern aquarium & yacht marina, shopping centres & an antiquaries street to mention but a few. Benidorm’s Terra Mitica theme park is about 30km south of Javea as are Aqualandia & Mundomar. Don’t miss the famous night revue at Benidorm Palace.
Javea / Montgo Area: The slopes of the Montgo mountain provide a year-round place to live. This is because of its exceptional micro-climate and splendid natural environment. Reaching down to a fertile valley filled with olive trees, orange and lemon groves, almond trees and vineyards producing red and white wines. A cosmopolitan mix of people have chosen to live here in preference to the more residential areas of Javea. The Montgo is classed as natural Parkland, similar to England’s ‘Areas of Natural Beauty’. There are lovely paths for walking enthusiasts. The 2400ft high summit can be reached in about 3 hours, where the breathtaking and panoramic views are more than worth the trek. he lower slopes of the Montgo sweep down to the coast about five minutes drive away. Here stands Javea, with its old centre, picturesque streets, a fortified church from the middle ages, a busy covered market and many many more attractions. The year round lively Javea Port area is about one mile away .
.... The fishing boats provide fresh fish daily. . There is a well sheltered marina with over 300 berths and offering a variety of water sports. The many waterside cafes, bars and restaurants give a definitive and vibrant holiday atmosphere. A small rocky bay joins this area to the Arenal, which boasts an excellent sandy blue-flag beach fringed with palms and a superb promenade. Here is a vast selection of restaurants and bars to suit al tastes with Spanish and international cuisine.

A hire car can be pre-arranged for your arrival for your transfer or for your full holiday. eg. Javea Cars, Sol-Mar, Centauro and Denia Cars provide an excellent service at a competitive price. Javea is situated equidistant between the airports of Valencia and Alicante, approximately one hours drive. Take the A-7 motorway from Alicante heading towards Valencia or alternatively from Valencia to Alicante (this way taking care to keep to the coastal road).
