The Costa del Sol Region: Over the last few decades, the Costa del Sol has become one of the world’s most popular holiday destinations. Its pleasant climate, numerous beaches and Golf courses have certainly influenced this. There are countless places to visit and things to do which make it one of the most successful tourist areas in Europe. Its capital, Malaga, and the city of Marbella are both cosmopolitan cities with great night life as well as cultural significance and attract the most tourists. It is a vast area with many different faces from the touristy beach towns like Marbella to the more traditional white washed villages of Mijas. The Costa del Sol doesn’t just posses good climate but it also has diversity. It is no wonder it is so popular with holiday makers.

Local attractions : They are several attractions close by to interest the whole family. Selwo Safari Park in Estepona with its animals roaming semi-wild is a great day out as is the Zoo in Fuengirola. There are also two Water Parks close by, one in Mijas Costa and the other in Torremolinos. A great day out is a visit to Gibraltar, (but don`t forget your passport) where you can take a tour of 'The Rock' and have close contact with the Apes. For the more adventurous, you can also take a day trip to Morocco on the fast Ferry from Algercias. Also in the area are several beautiful villages, towns and cites. These include Casares , Ronda, Mijas, Selville and Granada to name but a few. If you prefer to swim in the sea, the beautiful beaches of Estepona, Duquesa, Sotogrande, Puerto Banus and Marbella are only a few minutes away by car. There is also a natural beach opposite the entrance to the Costa Galera development (250 meters from the apartment) which is accessible on foot by crossing the N340 roadway.

Golf: The Costa del Sol is also known as the Costa del Golf, with good reason. There are at least 40 courses along the coastline. All in all a great location. Apartment had all that was needed. An ideal starting point to reach all interesting places to see. Seaside very close and grocery shops reachable within 5min per car. A car is def. recommended to posses. Communication with owner and his helpers always fast and without any problems. Always would rebook on future holidays.

The holiday home was the perfect size for my husband, two small children and myself. A little of the beaten path and therefore quite but still close enough to everything that you don't feel secluded. The apartment does requires you have your own transportation. The resort is well maintained and has the essentials to relax. The apartment garden is a nice size to be able to enjoy the weather.

We were glad to find out that the apartment perfectly matches the description and in some cases it even exceeded our expectations. There is absolutely everything down to the last detail we would need for a comfortable stay. It was very nice and convenient to spend time with our baby on the lawn at the house. The host is extremely helpful and very quick to reply. The property is as advertised. March is a little early in the season and not everything is open. The apartment is a great size for a small family. The neighborhood feels safe and secure. Well maintained. The apartment has what is needed to feel comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dishes and pots.

We are delighted to report that our stay here was excellant! We had a lovely time, and the apartment matched the description very well on the homeaway website. Tom the owner, has been very attentive, and a pleasure to deal with. The apartment is well appointed, and lacking nothing for a very comfortable stay! We would recommend the apartment and the resort. Our stay was winter, so we didn't see Albayt at its best, however we were able to travel around the south coast of Spain to see many places. We hope to re visit, in the near future.
