The last large town on the Costa del Sol before the Rock of Gibraltar Where is Estepona ? Located in the South of Spain ( Andalucia Region ) within the province of Malaga on the Costa del Sol Nearest Airport Gibraltar - 30 mins drive - 50 km Nearest Beach  7 Minutes walk or 4 Minutes to Casars beach - 45 Seconds mins drive Nearest Shops  Sabinillas & Supermarkets  - 5 mins drive - 5 km Nearest Motorway  AP7/E15 - 6 Kilometres - 5 mins drive - 6 km Nearest Train Station  Fuengirola - 30 mins drive - 40 km Alternative Airport  Malaga - 50 mins drive - 80 km My Apartment is situated between the charming old town of Estepona & the picturesque Puerto de la Duquesa, both only about 7 minutes drive. The nearest beach is a short walk or less than one minutes drive & only 3 minutes to the next, a bit further along. Cosmopolitan "Marbella" and the dazzling Puerto Banus (both great for shopping), where you will mix with the Jet set and possibly see familiar faces, & just 20 minutes by car. The well known resorts of Fuengirola and Torremolinos are easy reach by car & bus .Malaga & Airport *(with 8 Airlines flying in from UK & Ireland) is only 50 minutes drive & well worth a visit. Alternative Airports are Gibraltar (30) Jerez (75). Gibraltar (British of course) has the famous rock which can be seen on a clear day from the local beach, has many attractions as well as the Apes and Dolphin boat tours. You can take the fast ferry (45 minutes) to Morocco from Algeciras being a 40 minute drive from the apartment. Visit Tarifa (the closest point to N. Africa -14 Km. & great for windsurfing, only1 hour drive away). 8 Golf courses in the region, the nearest is Estepona & Duquesa @only 6/7 minutes drive. Both Bedrooms are furnished to very high standard with built in wardrobes and plenty of storage. The master bedroom has double French windows opening onto a private terrace / garden. Pillows and Low Tog Duvets & Duvet covers are provided.

Review for Estepona Apartment owned by Mr John Finger

We have just returned from Estepona Apartments, on the Galera Park complex at Albayt owned by Mr John Finger on 22nd march to 29th March 2017. We flew to Malaga, hired a car as this is recommended . We traveled by motorway to the apartment, the journey took approximately one hour, using the toll roads, these roads are cheap so don't be put off by them. On arriving at the complex , we found it to be clean and well kept. The apartment has two bedrooms , one with an en suite bathroom, and next to it a shower room. It is spacious, clean, comfortable and well presented as well as being well stocked (utensils) in the kitchen . There is a good stock of cd's and dvd's if required as well as comprehensive instructions on how to use the tv/dvd/wi fi and air conditioning. There are books with information for nearby restaurants etc., There are two terraces but the one at the back is more private with views of the sea. We visited out of season, purely to have a touring holiday. We did not make use of the other facilities the complex offered. i.e swimming pools, spa, restaurant and golf. Galera Park has a local supermarket which is a walking distance to the apartment (bottom of the hill), it may be small but has a good stock of most items that anyone should require. Lidl's supermarket is a quarter of a mile away. We were in a prime position to make short visits to Fuengirola, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Port Duquesa and Gibralatr. The beach and ample restaurants/pubs are close at hand. We have nothing but praise for this beautiful apartment and how we were assisted through the renting process for our weeks stay. We would definitely use this apartment in the future, but next time in the summer season. It is an ideal place to be based and stay.

Very Pleasant Stay - Costa Galera nr Estepona : October 2016

I thought I would send you a few comments on our very pleasant stay in your apartment in Costa Galera near Estepona, Spain.

Firstly thank you very much for your full an helpful details of the apartment, details about nearby towns and places to visit, and the journey from Gibraltar airport.

On arrival we found Lynne your local representative most helpful and welcoming. We found it very convenient to be located on the ground floor, as this avoided the need to lug heavy suitcases up and down steps. The apartment is located far enough from main road traffic to avoid major traffic noise, and the situation was nice and quiet. We found the accommodation to be very clean and well decorated, and our bed was most comfortable. The two bathrooms were ideally close to both bedrooms, and there was plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space available in both bedrooms.

The large kitchen/dining area was well laid out, light and easy to keep clean. All necessary facilities were provided and worked well. Overall it was a beautful apartment in which to relax at the end of the day.

It was also nice to be able to use the patio outside for breakfast and sometimes our evening meal, and we were not overlooked at all.

Being close to several supermarkets and other shops was most convenient, as was access to the main A7 road leading to all the nearby destinations, both costal and inland.

The availability of a swimming pool just across the road was very convenient and in a quiet setting which was most relaxing.

A variety of beaches within easy reach was also convenient and particularly as each one was different with different facilities nearby.

As expected there is a large availability of all types of restaurants in the area, and parking does not seem to be a major problem. Our holiday was much enjoyed, the weather helped tremendously, and the accommodation was excellent and met our expectations completely. Gwenda and I send our best regards to you and your wife.

We really appreciated having the ground floor location with the two decking areas which gave us plenty of opportunity to be outside.
