Although 8 kms to the nearest beach, the villa enjoys beautiful sea and mountain views from 3 of the 4 bedrooms, the living / dining area and the pool terrace. The back of the house also has mountain and country views overlooking the quiet and peaceful villa urbanisation. The area is a great base for family relaxation as well as for holidays packed with activities, since sandy beaches, golf courses, aquaparks, water sports, fishing, theme parks and an animal safari park are all within easy reach. The bustling town of Denia is also nearby with its historical importance, the castle, shopping, restaurants and clubs.
The nearby villages of La Xara, Pego, Rafol and Denia itself also boast some of Spain's most traditional village festas with firework celebrations, music, food and dancing throughout July and August. Denia is also home of the Montgo Natural reserve and the busy port connecting Spain to Ibiza and Majorca. In the port's new marina one can charter a sunset or daytime cruise, jet ski or private boat for fishing or undertake watersport activities including diving, surfing and water skiing. The marina lights up at night with its popular and trendy cafe bars, top rated restaurants and disco clubs. Other popular seaside resorts within easy reach include Benidorm, Oliva, Javea, Calpe and Moraira.
The villa is built on 2 floors on a large plot measuring 1,060sq. metres. It has a total of 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are located on the upper level & another in the lower floor apartment. Apart from the bedrooms, the top floor includes a roofed dining terrace enjoying fantastic sea & country views, a kitchen & large living area. The apartment, being on the same level as the swimming pool terrace, has its own separate entrance even though it is never rented separately from the house. The apartment is only availed when the group consists of 7-10 guests to have access to the fourth bedroom & the pull out sofa bed in the apartment's living room. The 3 bedrooms and the living room on the top floor are airconditioned, whilst the apartment on the pool level enjoys a cool climate in Summer and cosy atmosphere in the Winter months. Below the spacious pool terrace the villa has a large garden area with a garden tea room where one can enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea or cocktails.
The Costa Blanca: The Costa Blanca is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain. With several historical, cultural and beautiful seaside towns and villages, there is something for everyone. The most beautiful part of the Costa Blanca stretches down from Valencia towards Alicante, particularly between Gandia and Oliva to the North all the way down to Benidorm to the South, passing along Pego, Denia, Javea, Moraira and Calpe. The area enjoys incredibly clear waters and golden sandy beaches, several champioship golf courses, historial castles and ports, nature parks and mountains. One can also find Safari parks, water parks, luna parks and ample water sport facilities including skiing, fishing, surfing and sailing. Jet ski and speed boat rentals are also available. For a more relaxing holiday one can take a cruise around Moraira, Javea and Denia or simply enjoy the fresh mountain and sea air which this unspoilt area has to offer by going on a nature walk, horse or donkey riding.

Shopping is ample and cheap especially in the Ondara Shopping Complex and in Denia's main shopping streets, whilst getting around is easy and enjoyable with well posted roads and highways which helps getting from A to B very quickly.
How to get there: The villa is approximately an hour's drive from both Valencia & Alicante airports (105kms from each). From any airport, merge onto the AP7 & take exit 61 for Oliva/Pego/N332. Follow signs to Pego (go past Monte Pego) & approx 5kms in the direction of Pego you will see a turn off to your left for Rafol De Almunia. Follow the road up the mountain for 3.5kms until you see the urbanisation on your right at the top of the mountain. See Google maps for detailed road names / distances. A car is essential if you want complete freedom to make the most of your stay since it is located in a quiet villa urbanisation 5km from the nearest village & 8km from the nearest town & seaside. Car Hire in Spain is ridiculously cheap (budget around €22 / day).
