| Entering the villa from the access road through wrought iron gates there is space to park the car at the side of the house (if you don't mind a hill start in the morning!). Gas barbeque provided for use on the main terrace, small garden at the edge of the 8 metres by 4 metre swimming pool (which is usually covered and not available from October to March, depending on the weather), with sun loungers. Very large tiled area for sitting during the morning sun or retreating to for afternoon shade. | ||

Location: The Villa really is surrounded by some of the most stunning scenery in Spain. Lake Vinuela with it's Lakeside restaurants is a mile from the house; there are dozens of tracks for walking or mountain biking in the area. The flora and fauna and birdlife are spectacular, great for photographers. There are many small villages and towns to explore; yet the villa is only 20 minutes from the beach and sporting facilities at Torre del Mar. The village of Periana, which is a 15 minute drive away, is a must with spectacular views over this beautiful area of Spain; buy some Periana olive oil straight from the factory while you are there. This is a fantastic location to either explore Spain and all it has to offer or just 'chill out' in the sun!!! Local Attractions: Torre del Mar has a very large beach with dozens of bars and restaurants; it also has a major shopping mall and cinema complex, a go cart track plus an Aqua Park (in the summer months). You will find scuba diving and the usual sea activities all along the coast. There are street markets in a range of the local towns and villages most days of the week. In addition you can find a few golf courses within a one hour drive, Bavaria Golf is 20 minutes from the house - handicap certificate required. There are fantastic caves at Nerja, 50 minutes from the house and The World Heritage site of The Alhambra at Granada is 2 hours max. If you don't want to go far - Lake Vinuela looks different every day with views and walks galore. To enjoy the scenery and see these attractions we would recommend a car. |
