Rural Andalucia: Larger supermarkets and restaurants are located in Velez Malaga and Torre del Mar. Torre del Mar has miles of sandy beach with a promenade and beach bars. There is also a weekly market here. Nearby are the underground caves at Nerja. There are many activities on offer in the locality including horse riding, fishing, hiking, water parks and quad biking. In the winter months skiing and winter sports are available at the Sierra Nevada ski resort.

Lake Vinuela/ Alcaucin Area: Exploring the valley with it's peaceful villages and great scenery is a must. Velez malaga is an old town with much history, as is the town of Malaga itself. On the outskirts of Torre del Mar is a shopping mall with a wide variety of shops including a hypermarket where you can purchase everything you need.
