Casa Amelia is a beautiful villa built in the old rustic Cortijo style, with lots of charm and high beamed ceilings. It is set 45 mins from Malaga, in the small urbanisation of Cortijo Romero, which is 5 mins from the beautiful Lake Vinuela and just over 1 hours drive from the beautiful city of Granada. The Villa although only 6 years old, has been lovingly reformed to new condition by the present owners.

It is surrounded by the mountains of Sierra Tejeda and its white walls and terracotta rooftops compliment the endless blue skies that are characteristic of the historical region of Axarquia.The villa facilitates parties of six people, boasting a spacious living and dining area, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a state-of the-art kitchen, providing the luxury of all of modern appliances necessary for living, whilst retaining the rustic ambience of the surrounding landscape. The Villa is beautifully appointed to a very high standard, and has air conditioning, heating and an open fire for cooler winter lets.

Casa Amelia boasts the most breathtaking views from the terrace all year round. In the summer season, you can appreciate the views of whitewashed villages and olive clad hills, and in winter, you can admire the glistening snow-capped mountains in the vast landscape whilst bathing in the hot temperatures below. The Gardens are mature and even boast their own fruit trees.

Shops - You will find a couple of very well stocked supermarkets, a Bank, Chemist and Doctor in the nearby village of Vinuela, Puente Don Manuel, 5 mins by car. But 15 mins drive away and you can shop until you drop at the massive shopping centre at Velez Malaga, where you will find 120 shops and an Eroski Hiper market.

There are several restaurants.. within walking distance of Casa Amelia, one with live music in summer - or further afield, Torre del Mar the seaside resort with its bars, restaurants, beach and long promenade. Nerja is just 25 mins by car and Frigilana 20mins by car. We will leave details in the villa of lots of other attractions and restaurants too numerous to mention here, you will be spoilt for choice!

Our representatives for the villa are Puente Servi Located in the nearby village of Puente don Manuel, although Spanish, they speak excellent English, and are a family run business, and any problems at all with the Villa they will be there to advise and help.
