House with Wonderful Views - 2 minutes walk from the Bar & Pool

Casa Pepa is a house set out on it’s own about a third of the way up the village, 2 minutes walk from the bar and 2½ minutes walk from the pool. It’s a single story house with parking behind it. From the parking area steps, and a path lead you down to the house. Pepa has one extra large double-bedded bedroom and one twin bedroom. The twin room has a small en suite bathroom. There is another bathroom in the main body of the house.

The kitchen has a large fridge, washing machine, microwave and 4-hob cooking facility but no oven. There is room to eat in the kitchen but also there is a dining table and chairs in the sitting room and of course there are chairs and tables outside for eating out. There is a built in barbecue on the terrace. The house has either terrace, or its own gardens, on all four sides. For the cooler evenings there are moveable radiators, and a wonderful fireplace in the sitting room.

El Cañuelo is a small hamlet of about 20 houses, roughly 15 km from Velez Malaga, it is 3km from Periana and 3kms from Ventas de Zafarraya. Set in the hills at a height of 850m it is just 3 kms from the province of Granada. The two towns mentioned have many bars and banks and small supermarkets and of course their own street markets once a week. The nearest beach is 20km away at Torre del Mar. The views are outstanding - on a clear day you can see the Rif mountains of Africa. There are many towns and villages to visit in the region.

Locality: The nearest small towns to El Cañuelo are Periana and Ventas de Zafaraya. They both have small supermarkets and banks and a seemingly endless number of bars. We are under two hours journey from many interesting cities (e.g. Seville and Cordoba) and nearer to many small villages and points of interest. Malaga and Granada are just over an hour away and both are fascinating cities. Skiing is most enjoyable in the Sierra Nevada from December to April. Just 15km from El Cañuelo is the fabulous mountain town of Alhama de Granada, with small quaint bars and delightful eating places, in fact the tapas alone in Alhama are worth coming to Spain for! For those who like golf, the nearest course is in Velez Malaga.
