Our house is situated in a quiet residential area 1km from Los Montesinos, a very nice small spanish town with many bars and restaurants, including indian and chinese. There are scenic views from the sunroof of the house which faces south and has an uninterrupted view towards Torrevieja 10km away, which includes 2 large lakes. Close by, but out of sight, is an excellent modern supermarket selling fresh fish and meat, wines, beers and everything you are likely to need including english food. There is also an internet facility (20mins for 1€), a safe children's play area and communal pool (see photo). The lively resorts of Torrevieja and Guardamar are 10km away. These resorts offer everything for the family including Blue Flag beaches, water sports, water parks, golf courses, cinema, night clubs and casino and lots more. The house sleeps up to 6 people - 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin. There is also a travel cot and high chair available, please bring your own cot bedding. The ground floor has 1 double bedroom, shower room and toilet. The lounge/dining room has air conditioning/heating, with a dining table seating 6 people. 2 sofas, a flat screen television with satellite TV and combi dvd/vcr. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave and washer/dryer. There is ample parking, garden and front terrace with table and chairs. On the first floor there is the main bedroom with a king-size bed and patio doors leading out to a terrace. The third bedroom has twin beds. All the bedrooms have ceiling fans, fitted wardrobes and storage drawers. The main bathroom has a shower in the bath, wc, bidet and washbasin. On the top floor is the main sunroof with table and chairs for 6.

Los Montesinos is situated between two salt lakes and a national park. There is horseriding, cycling and karting there or you can walk round the lakes and watch the birdlife, including flamingoes. A 10 minute drive takes you to the nearest golf course.

How to get there: Los Montesinos is a 35 minute drive from either Alicante or Murcia airports and a short drive from Torrevieja and Guardamar.
