The apartment is located in a gated community and has a communal swimming pool and roof terrace. In the 'village' of Algorfa, there are several traditional Spanish tapas bars, restaurants, shops including a pharmacy and optician all of which are only a short stroll away. Around the vicinity of the La Finca Golf Course (only 5 minutes drive), there is a new commercial centre, consisting of banks, restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The nearby town of Benemar/Benijofar (only 10 minutes drive) also has a large array of bars and restaurants. The blue flag beaches of Guardamar, La Marina, La Mata, La Zenia and Cabo Roig are a short drive away. There are a number of top class golf courses in the Costa Blanca area. The popular La Finca Championship golf course is a 5 minute drive and Las Colinas, Campoamor, Las Ramblas and Villa Martin are within a 15 minute drive. Other courses can be found 30 minutes drive away they are Rhoda Golf, Bonalba, El Plantio and Alicante.

If you want a change from lying at the pool or beach there are lots of places to visit. A fun day out can be enjoyed at the waterpark, Torrevieja Aquopolis (www.torreviejainformation.com/torrevieja-water-park). If you fancy a lively day out visit Terra Mitica Theme Park which is a 40 minute drive, the kids will love it (www.terramiticapark.com). The beautiful scenic village of Guadalest boasts magnificent views and is near Benidorm (www.guadalest.eu). If you would like a totally relaxing day, visit Fortuna Spa near Murcia.

Set in a glorious location, between the mountains & the Mediterranean, a small traditional village. Where is Algorfa ? Valencia Region, Province of Alicante on the Costa Blanca. Nearest Airport Alicante - 25 mins drive Nearest Beach Guardamar - 15 mins drive Nearest Shops Algorfa Nearest Motorway Algorfa - 3 mins drive Alternative Airport Murcia - 25 mins drive Algorfa is a typical Spanish town and sits in an extremely privileged location. Almost on its doorstep are: 'Blue Flag' beaches, woods, nature reserves, leisure facilities, a 'world class' golf course (La Finca), peace, rest and relaxation. All are wonderful values whether people are visiting or residing in Algorfa. This is an excellent choice of location. You can revel in the peace this sleepy village provides, or, you can choose to join one of the many activities the area provides. Lying on the banks of the River Segura. Algorfa is one of the Vega Baja's lush and fertile citrus farming villages. Orange and lemon groves line all roads surrounding the village. Just outside the village, towards the west, on the road to Benejuzar is a graceful and unusual nineteenth century church build in the very popular neo-gothic style. The church can be visited whilst admiring the beautiful green countryside in the fertile valley of the river. There is lots to do and there is no reason for anyone to be bored. For children the leisure centre has a huge swimming pool with a paddling area, a floodlight football and 5 a-side pitch. There are tennis courts and riding stables nearby. For the grown ups, there is peace and quiet, bars, restaurants, beautiful walks, or just doing the best bit.... sitting and watching the Spanish sun go down in the evening! Algorfa is a 15 minute drive from Torrevieja . Unlike some other spanish towns, Torrevieja is an all year round resort and is a constant hive of activity. It has a lovely promenade with shops, bars and restaurants. Market stalls are lined along the front which open late into the evening. An Amusement Fair can be found beside the market at various times of the year. Parking spaces are always available near the market.
