Well-maintained and recently decorated apartment with own shared swimming pool, situated in a quiet residential area just 5 minutes walk from 3 golden sandy beaches of Torrevieja and very close to Carlos' bar (small garden area and safe for children with great English fayre). There is also the Las Habernas indoor shopping area which houses Zara etc, easily reached by a 15 min walk or by local regular bus service, 2 mins walk from apartment near Mercadona or taxi. Apartment is located on the third floor with 2 lifts, ramps and private entrance with intercom, and swimming pool only available to apartment residents. Close to all amenities including bars, restaurants, supermarkets, transport and Water Park, near Las Habernas Centre. There are 3 golf courses in the near vicinity. New bus service from Alicante airport to Torrevieja station (2 mins walk fro apartment), service operating regularly throughout the day, fare 7 euros per person, go to www.costazul.net for timetable.

The apartment comes with English sky television including channels 1 to 5, 3 sports and film channels, DVD player, kitchen containing full oven with grill, separate 4 ring hob, microwave, fast spin washing machine, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and cooking utensils etc. The bathroom contains, bath, shower, toilet, bidet and the whole apartment has hot/cold running water with 2 heaters for winter nights and 2 fans. There is one double and one twin bedroom plus a sofa bed in the lounge giving comfortable accomodation for up to 6 people.

Torrevieja is situated approximately 40 kilometres south of Alicante which can be easily reached by regular transport. Within a short distance is the town centre of Torrevieja, the Marina and Harbour, which has international status as well as a fun-fair. There are three top 18 hole golf courses and sandy beaches nearby. Just a short distance away is a large hypermarket, a sports complex, a large children's park, a football stadium, a water park, cinemas and a bowling alley. In addition, the largest market in Spain is held here every Friday. The beaches of the Costa Blanca have been awarded the European Blue Flag for clean beaches and unpolluted water. The two salt lakes which surround Torrevieja create a wonderful climate all year round, and are beneficial for people with arthritis and chest problems. For many it's a daily routine to partake in a mud bath for the healing properties. The lakes are home to a host of wild life including large flocks of Flamingos.

The Local Area: The 'Aquapolis' aqua park is open from mid June until mid September and provides slides, pools and fountains for activities, thatch sunshades for picnics, and a cafe. The Paraque de las Naciones is a children's picnic area with a boating lake and swan-shapes boats. Near the Carrefour hyper-market can be found night-clubs, bars, cinema and bowling alley. There is a well situated bus station about 2 minutes walk away with air-conditioned coaches that can take you to towns and cities not too far away, providing a good timetable and reasonable prices
