A quiet inland location positioned centrally to a variety of activities. New fully fitted first floor apartment, within easy reach of clean beaches and safe swimming (particularly in the sheltered waters of the Mar Menor coastal lagoon), 10 golf courses within a 5 mile radius. Located in quiet towns, with weekly market, local shopping for essentials, new health centre and banks.

All the local shops, banks, bars and restaurants are an easy walk from the apartment. The tobacconist stocks English newspapers and magazines. Many of the local shops speak English and all are very welcoming. Within the complex there will be a restaurant, planned to be open this summer, which will serve tapas. There is a garage/petrol station in the village along with a health centre and 4 banks, where English is spoken.

Travel / Distances: The nearest airport is Murcia, about 20 minutes away, but with limited flights at certain times of the year Alicante is the next best, about 45 minutes away on new roads. Transport to and from airport can be arranged at your cost. Car hire is advised and there are plenty of companies offering good terms for one or two weeks hire, particularly the smaller cars. The apartment is in the quiet village of Sucina. The cathedral and university city of Murcia, the old coastal capital of Cartagena, the Costa Calida coast - particularly the excellent beaches and safe swimming in the Mar Menor coastal lagoon - along with 10 golf courses are all within 30 minutes drive. Natural parks such as the Sierra de Espuna offer good day walks and are also within 30 minutes drive.

Golf: There are 10 golf courses within a 5 mile radius. Various local companies can arrange fully comprehensive golf packages including transfers from airport to discount green fees and club and buggy hire.

Coast/ Beach: The Mar Menor Coastal Lagoon, on the Costa Calida, is a region of good beaches and safe swimming within 20 minutes drive of the apartment. The old and historic harbour city of Cartagena is likewise 20 minutes away.

Guest Comments: This is a new apartment and our second home. It is in its first year of rental. We hope to have some nice comments later in the season!

Accessibility/ Suitability: There are lifts from secure, gated underground parking to the apartment. Outside the apartment there are steps leading down to other levels. The lifts can be used for access to pool level and other areas. The apartment is suitable for children, but at present there are no cot facilities. There is a shallow section of the pool set aside for children.
