How to get to Alicante from the Airport

Alicante is extremely easy to reach from the nearest Airport which is Alicante Airport. The town center is situated just 15 km from the Airport. A bus transfer service is available throughout the day and evening. The bus leaves every 20 minutes approximately, but the journey takes around 40 minutes into the centre of Alicante due to frequent stops on the way.

Alicante has a mild climate which is partly due to the small hills that surround the city to the north. Further on northwards there is a fairly high mountain range of 1600 m. This gives the city protection from harsh weather conditions even in the wintertime. The lowest winter temperatures average at around 16°C and full rain days are only about 20 each year. Summertime in Alicante is dry and hot; with temperatures averaging around 30°C.
