The Mario Park water park is great for kids of all ages with flumes and slides and is very close to the apartment. Boat trips on a 'glass-bottom' boat leave the harbour daily and allow you to see the beach and mountains from a new perspective. Playa Serena Golf Course was designed by Angel Gallardo and Peter Allis. The course is flat as it is located close to the beach. There are also 2 other Golf Courses within easy reach of Roquetas de Mar. The beach stretches for miles and the more active can walk along the promenade between Romanilla beach and Playa Serena, (approx 5 miles) experiencing the many 'refreshment stops' along the way! Why not visit Almeria City, Granada or the mountains by car or take one of the many excursions to different parts of the region, such as 'Mini Hollywood' a Wild West 'attraction' where many well known Spaghetti Westerns were filmed.
