Further Information: Nerja is situated east of Malaga about a 45 minute drive along the E-15 motorway. Nerja surrounded by mountains has excellent weather year round. There is the famous Balcon de Europa overlooking the sea and a wide choice of restaurants, tapas bars, late night bars, discos etc. Nerja still retains the typical fishing village charm with its small streets and old Spanish houses. One of the main attractions are the Nerja Caves with the longest stalactites in the world at the town of Maro a 5 min drive from Nerja. There are 5 beaches in Nerja with beach restaurants and water-sport facilities. Snow - ski at Sierra Nevada with 70 km of piste a 1.45 hr drive away. Guided excursions to Gibralta, Granada, Sevilla, Ronda etc. |
