A comfortable, 3-bedroom bungalow sleeping up to 8 people on the Bonalba Golf Course Resort, with panoramic views of the golf course and local countryside. Bonalba is a quiet resort in the Sierra de Bonalba foothills 15km north of Alicante, a 10min drive from the blue-flag beaches of San Juan, 20min from the airport and 5 min from J67 of the A7 providing easy access to the many attractions of the Costa Blanca coast. This family-owned air conditioned villa has contemporary furnishings, fully fitted kitchen and excellent indoor and outdoor accommodation including large covered balcony, rooftop sun terrace and the pretty paved garden with charcoal BBQ is fully lit for evening dining. The 3 bedrooms have fully fitted wardrobes. There is TV and DVD player, a good selection of books and games and table tennis table. The villa is suitable for families and the elderly with wheelchair access to the rear. Los Balcones has a large communal pool with separate children's pool and play area

The local area has something to suit every taste-from Benidorm with its fine sandy beaches and 5 theme/water parks to Roman Archaeological sites. Bonalba is 10 minutes from the blue-flag beaches of San Juan and El Campello and close to the cosmopolitan city of Alicante with its restaurants, bars, museums, and famous tree-lined esplanade. For golfers the Costa Blanca has 15 courses, of which 8 are fairly close; tennis and water sports are available locally plus lots of coastal and mountain walking. For day trips- take a glass bottomed boat to Tabarca island, visit Guadalest and the Fonts d'Algar waterfalls, Javea is a family-friendly resort with long beaches and a working harbour, Elche has the largest date-palm plantation in Europe. The coastal towns of Altea, Calpe, Villajoyosa, Santa Pola are worth a visit as are the Canalobre Caves at Busot and the weekly street markets held in every village and town. This is also a fish-lovers paradise with fresh fish landed daily at local ports.

The Bonalba Spa next to the clubhouse has everything to help adults relax and children have fun throughout the year. The outdoor pool (open summer only) is set in tropical gardens with slides and waterfalls and 'beach' area with snack bar and separate child's play area. The indoor caves/pool area is open all year as are the gym, jacuzzi and health and beauty treatments and hair salon. The Golf club has a good driving range. In 2008 a new sports facility opened with two clay tennis courts and a large artificial grass bowling green - all of which are floodlit at night and available to hire at very competitive rates by non-members of the golf club The commercial centre has 2 small shops (open 7 days), an excellent cafe/bread shop, a number of cafes open daytime, an Irish Bar and cocktail bar are open day and evening. There is a bank with cash machine and public telephone. A car is recommended - for which there is ample covered parking.
