We are located just two minutes’ drive to the beach, on the outskirts of Moraira designated by the World Health Organization as the cleanest air and beach of all the coastal regions in Spain. Although quiet and peaceful in this unique area of Cumbre del Sol where the views are breathtakingly stunning, you can be in the bustle of 3 main towns within 20 minutes. Just ten minutes drive takes you to the very attractive Moraira village with many international restaurants and pubs and a white sandy beach. The port location of Moraira offers a great variety of small restaurants.
The apartment benefits from shared private pools area. One large pool and a medium-size pool just next to the apt! Small one for children at the main pool complex: The pool area is a great meeting place as there is also the bistro offering meals and drinks. Play area for children. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with rolling green hilly views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With two double bedrooms, the apartment is ideal for couples and families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

This area of the Costa Blanca is hailed the cleanest in the whole of Spain by the World Health Organization. It thoroughly deserves the fame as the beaches are the cleanest I’ve seen anywhere I’ve travelled. They are probably up there in our estimation with New Zealand. The sandy beaches are perfect for swimming and waterskiing, snorkelling and pedalos. For the more adventurous there is scuba diving in and around the caves around the Moraig beach in the Cumbre del Sol. The area boasts beautiful walks within the Cumbre del Sol and many other organized walks organised by private groups in the area. Find out more through the Costa Blanca English newspaper or the free magazine called the Calpe Vine. Just 30 km away there are many mountain areas and lakes to visit. The rugged coastline makes for fabulous photos as you will see from our pictures on this site. Most importantly you will find that wherever you are, the local facilities cater superbly for every visitor.
.... Javea is an attractive small town including a historic old town, the port area and Arenal sandy beach as well as a long pebbly beach. It’s a residential town with low buildings and no high rises to speak of. The port area makes for an attractive walk taking in restaurants and boutiques along the way. Market day is Thursday. Calpe has high rises along the beach area, all very recent with two 4-star hotels, a 4-star resort and a number of other hotels. It boasts beautiful white sandy beaches and long 2 km. walkways either side of the rock called Penyal d’Ifach where experienced rock climbers enjoy adventurous conditions for climbing. There’s a lovely ecological garden at the base of the rock where sunsets are glorious. Valencia is the third largest city in Spain with its large tree-lined avenues, historic monuments and this year, 2007 the Americas Cup. Visitors adore the ease of its comfort and family friendly amenities, while many more are seduced by unexplored valleys.
Moraira: Moraira is an old fishing town that has recently become a popular resort. Moraira has four beaches, each very different in character from the others. The beach of El Portet is the northernmost of these, being situated at the end of a sheltered shell-shaped bay, quiet with clear water and a gently sloping seabed, being ideal and safe for swimming. The town beach, or L'Ampolla, is a large sandy beach with a play area and restaurants. Platgetes is quieter and partly sand/partly rock; and L'Andrago is a boulder beach, ideal for snorkelling. Both to the north and south of Moraira there are many secluded bays and coves well worth exploring. Cumbre Del Sol, known as “Summit of the Sun”, is made up of very attractive villas & apartments some of which look as if they are virtually perched on the edge of the hills with great views all around & the sunsets are spectacular. From here you are perfectly situated for access to the best resorts on the Costa Blanca, being just 8km from Moraira / Javea.
.... Just a couple of minutes by car is the Lirios shopping centre with a very good Chinese restaurant, pub, brasserie and hardware store. There is another shopping centre near the north entrance of the Cumbre del Sol at Benitachell entrance called Adelfas. Benitachell, the commune of Cumbre del Sol is a small Spanish town at the foot of Cumbre del Sol. In Cumbre Del Sol there is a horse riding centre and tennis courts nearby. Just 2.5 kms down the road to Javea is the 9 hole Javea golf course, a very lush and pleasant course. Golfers wanting a stiffer challenge need to go to the Olazabal designed 18 hole course at La Sella (12 km away) and the Ballesteros designed 18 hole course at Oliva Nova. At the La Sella course there is also a large tennis complex and health club/spa/casino facilities at the 5 star Marriott hotel in the Altea Hills region.
