The Valencia region is located in eastern Iberia. Bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, consists of the provinces of Castellon, Valencia and Alicante, from North to South. In the North the Iberian mountains (“Cerro Calderón” 1.839 meters, “Peñagolosa” 1.813 m). In the South the mountains of the Betic System (“Aitana”, 1.558 m). Mountains and plains in the centre. The Costa Blanca (White Coast) is along the Alicante province, having a coastline of over 200 kms and made up of some of the finest beaches on the Mediterranean. Many of these fabulous beaches, including the ones around Benitachell (Javea and Moraira), enjoy a 'blue flag' status. Inland there are hillsides covered with terraced vineyards and lush-green citrus orchards, a legacy of the agricultural traditions of the area, and dotted with charming villages full of narrow streets and flower-filled squares.
In its interior areas are cities with great history as Morella, Alcoy and Orihuela. Villages with traditional fishing like Altea with white streets and the blue dome of the Church of Sant Jaume. Javea, with its interesting historical part. Landscapes with true essence of nature, like the “Mascarat”.
In “Sierra Helada”, Benidorm, picturesque landscape, has amusement parks for the little ones: “Mundomar” and “Aqualandia”. Special mention theme park "Terra Mitica" located between Benidorm and Finestrat. There are 8 Michelin recommended restaurants in the area with three of them being star rated. The weather is usually mild, especially in the coast that has a typical Mediterranean climate along the coast with mild winters (around 13 °C) and long summers pretty dry and hot, with highs around 30 ° C. The apartment is situated in a peaceful residential development on a sloping hillside which ends in a cliff over the sea. The apartment is on elevated position & therefore affords open, breathtaking views over the coast line of the Mediterranean sea. The terrace is 6 x 3 meters & provides ample space for dining and& catching the direct sun until further noon. The extensive terrace is equipped with a table 4 position armchairs outside. There are two twin swimming pools for a group of apartments of the residential urbanization, each one with poolside shower. The enclosed terraces of each pool provide a seating area & are perfect sun-traps during the cooler winter months. One of the swimming pools also provides a safe area for children.

Moraira/ Cumbre del Sol Area: In the heart of the beautiful mountainous area of the Costa Blanca (one of the most beautiful coasts of Spain) is La Cumbre del Sol (Mountain of the Sun). It is the mountain of Benitachell, balcony of the Mediterranean. It is perfectly situated between the smaller town of Moraira and the larger resort of Javea (both at 10-15 minutes drive). Both towns have sandy beaches, bars, restaurants, shops, golf, marinas, watersports, jet skis, Go-Karting, diving, sailing, and many other facilities. La Cumbre del Sol is located at a short drive from the cosmopolitan towns of Calpe and Denia (Ferry to Balearic Islands) and conveniently placed between the airports of Alicante (95 Kms) and Valencia (130 km). The zone has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful areas of special protection as Natural Park “Granadella” and Mount “Montgo” (Javea), Natural Park of “Penon de Ifach” and the salinas (salt) area (Calpe), cliffs where to walk along and many small villages to explore.

Benitachell has a brave and broken coastline with cliffs up to 100 meters above sea level with sea caves. Perfect place for diving. The “Moraig Creek” (Cala Moraig) offers a clean pebble beach and crystal clear waters at the foot of a dramatic cliff. The “Cova dels Arcs”, beautiful cave where an underground river flows to the sea.
.... Moraira: originally a small fishing village which has developed into a small exclusive area, whilst still retaining its original charm and character. There is a Popular Friday market. Moraira has four beaches: El Portet, quiet with clear water and a gently sloping seabed, being ideal and safe for swimming. L'Ampolla, large sandy beach with a play area and restaurants. Platgetes, quieter and partly sand/partly rock. L'Andrago, rocky beach, ideal for snorkelling. To the north and south of Moraira there are many recondite bays and coves well worth exploring. Javea: fascinating town with its church of San Bartolomé (an example of late gothic with a defensive character) and cobbled streets, with tosca stone porticoes, gothic bay windows, wrought iron window bars and balcony railings. The Port has many boutiques, beaches and a Marina. Beautiful beach and lively nightlife and bars. Magical landscapes. Situated between the San Antonio and La Nao capes.
Golf: Just 4 kms down the road to Javea is the 9 hole “Javea golf course”, a very lush and pleasant course. "Don Cayo golf course" located in the foothills of the Sierra Bernia, Altea, 19 km, it is 9 hole course alternating holes of great difficulty with recovery holes. “Ifach Golf Club” 9 hole course (6 par-3 and 3 par-4) located in Moraira (Benissa), 6 km. Golfers wanting a stiffer challenge need to go to the Olazabal designed 18 hole course at “La Sella” (Denia,19 km away, 25 minutes) with also a large tennis complex and health club/spa/casino facilities at the 5 star Marriott hotel. Ballesteros designed 18 hole course at “Oliva Nova” (Oliva, 35 km, 40 minutes). Campo de Golf Parador El Saler, Valencia, 70 minute away.
