This is a spacious 2 bed / 2 bath fully air-conditioned luxury apartment, situated on the renowned Mijas Golf complex. 2 bedrooms - 1 en-suite with a double bed & 1 with 2 single beds and a large family shower room. There is a well equipped fully fitted kitchen and a living area with 2 large sofas (one a sofa bed), & a flat screen TV, Satellite, DVD/CD, an iPod Dock & a Wii. The two balconies are fully furnished.

Located in a gated community, the large swimming pool and gardens are maintained to a very high standard and there is a life guard on duty during July & August. We supply sun loungers and pool towels (4 of each). Each room benefits from air-con and heating making the apartment suitable for year round holidays. The apartment is only 20/25 minutes drive from Malaga airport and Marbella and just a 10 minute drive from Fuengirola and La Cala both of which have numerous shops, bars, restaurants & beaches. An ideal apartment for couples, families and golfers.

Inside the Apartment: Sleeping 4/6, this apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 with a double bed & en-suite bathroom, the 2nd with 2 single beds. There is a fully sprung double sofa bed in the living area. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use. Both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. The apartment has 2 bathrooms - 1 is en-suite. Air-conditioning / Heating allows you to set the temperature you require. The apartment has a flat screen TV, DVD/CD player, iPod/MP3dock, a Wii & Satellite (you will need to bring your Sky card, you will receive your usual channels but not Sky Movies or Sky Sport) The living room & the dining room comfortably seat 6. The kitchen has a full hob & oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle & toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, iron & ironing board. There is cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils. Please note this is a non-smoking apartment. An ashtray is provided so you may smoke on the balcony. The apartment may be suitable for wheelchairs.

Outside the Apartment: Tthe apartment has two balconies for you to relax on. Both balconies are furnished so you can enjoy the morning sun over looking the mountains at the front of the apartment & during the afternoon enjoy over looking the gardens. The apartment is located in a quiet area. The pool & and well manicured gardens are in a gated community for your peace of mind. There is a life guard on duty during July & August. Sun loungers and large pool towels are supplied for your use (4 of each). If you are driving there is a secure underground garage with an allocated parking space. There is plenty of free on-street parking too if you have more than one vehicle. There is a lift from the under ground car park to each floor. The outside and communal areas are well lit for your safety. The apartment benefits from a door entry system. We have included a chill box & freezer packs so you can pack up a picnic. There are plastic cups for the children to take to the pool or on their picnic.

About the Local Area: The nearest bar & restaurant is located in the Mijas Golf Club House a short stroll away from the apartment. The restaurant serves food all day with breakfast at 8am. Salads, snacks, pasta & grills are served all day. There are several restauarnts on the Mijas estate and along the main road to Fuengirola which are within walking distance. A local shop is a 5 min walk Fuengirola and La Cala are about a 10-15 drive away and both have wonderful beaches, restaurants and bars. Fuengiola has a large shopping area too. Nearby is an aqua park, about 45 golf courses, lots of shops, restaurants, supermarkets and bars. Along the cost you will find all types of water sports, horse riding, historic sites, a museum, a zoo, a themepark, extreme sports, mountain biking, sea fishing, as well as places of cultural and historic interest. Marbella and Puerto Banus are about a 20 minute drive. Further afield you can head inland to enjoy the real Spain or take a day trip to Gibraltar or Morocco.

Golf: The apartment is located within the Mijas Golf complex and offers the choice of two excellent golf courses within a 5 minute walk; Los Olivos and Los Lagos. Green fees start from 40 Euros. There is a driving range and putting & chipping greens. The on-site restaurant & bar is open from 8am serving food all day, from English breakfasts, salads, snacks, through to full evening meals. The covered patio area is the perfect place to relax. Los Olivos The main feature which distinguishes this course from The Lakes is the abundance of trees - hence the name - and its smaller size, as well as fewer water hazards. The greens are smaller, undulating and well defended. Although both are the work of the same designer, there is no doubt there are interesting contrasts between the two courses: if Los Lagos are based on hazards of water and sand, Los Olivos is strategic narrow tree lined fairways and elevated greens.

.... Los Lagos With its 6,367 metres, this course is the longer of the two which comprise of Mijas Golf. Los Lagos is a ground course with wide fairways and a few forest trees obstacles, but is defended by many bunkers and nine lakes, from which the course gets its name and which easily trap the ball. It is a course with soft movement and large greens. It could be said that the American designer wanted to present a course especially for amateurs, but at the same time, it can present a challenge for the best players.
