Right in the heart of Mijas Costa, the apartment is 25 minutes from Malaga airport and conveniently situated in the Urbanisation Riviera Del Sol, between Fuengirola and Marbella towns and just 20 minutes drive to the famous "Puerto Banus" . Make the best of the Costa del Sol on your holiday break and come to Riviera del Sol. The popular sandy beaches of La Cala and Cabopino, not even 10 minutes drive away from the apartment . Located in a safe and secure complex, the apartment is accessible through a security intercom gated entrance and via a lift from the underground garage . Use of communal swimming pool and gardens .

Within the Riviera del Sol Complex, there is also a Tennis and Fitness Club and a new shooping centre with great supermarket , banks, hairdresser, newsagents , and a wide choice of interesting bars and restaurants to eat and relaxed over a drink. There is plenty to see and do. We recommend the use of a car, however the local busses run regularily to take you along the Coast . There is also a taxi rank right at the bottom of the complex .

Located in the South of Spain ( Andalucia Region ) within the province of Malaga on the Costa del Sol Nearest Airport Malaga - 25 km Nearest Beach Riviera del Sol - 0.5 km Nearest Train Station Fuengirola - 10 km Alternative Airport Gibraltar - 25 km The Mijas municipality covers an impressive 148 sq km and includes two major urbanisations, Sitio de Calahonda and Riviera del Sol where this apartment is situated. Riviera is inviting and popular among foreigners and spanish, particularly the large commercial centre with its bar, telephone booths and grocery store combined. The area is marked by lots of pretty coves and beaches with housing complexes (urbanizations) behind. Riviera Beach is just opposite the main road with the fabulous Max Beach Decking Pub Bar/Restaurant right on the Sea. . There is also Miraflores, the 18 hole Golf Course with excellent club house and reputable restaurant , were members and visitors are always warmly welcome . If Snow Skiing is what you want , Sierra Nevada, is only 2½ hours drive. Within a very short driving distance , you are spoiled for choice. Best beaches, excellent tennis facilities , Water Parks, and over 50 top quality Golf Courses to choose from. Miraflores ,La Cala , El Chaparral, Cabopino, Santa Clara and Rio Real are the closest to the apartment. We recomend a visit to the village of La Cala, only 10 minutes drive from the apartment . Their beaches, awarded the "Blue Flag" are among the best in the province and geared to provide action: jet skis, water skiing and parasending are all on the go. Be sure to check out the charm of the street restaurants and the Chiringuitos ( beach bars), where you can sample a variety of Spanish seafood and pescaditos, eaten with the favourite holiday drink, 'tinto de verano' ordinary red wine topped up with casera (lemonade) served in a tall glass with refresing lumps of ice and slice of lemon. Average temperature in the coast range from 25.1C ( 77F) in July August to 13.3 C ( 56F) in December.

This recommended drive ,takes you up into the hills through attractive scenery to the picturesque little town of Mijas, passing other typical Andalusian villages such as, Alhaurin el Grande on the A387 and Coin on the A366. On your return to the coast, after Coin turn onto the A355 following the signs OJEN- Marbella to Monda. Continue on the A355 which now heads south towards Ojen Marbella. A visit to Ronda & all its wonders is a must. This is a haven city upon Malaga mountains. Roman, Arabian Ronda, land of mythical bandits.

How to get there: The Urbanisation of Riviera del Sol is situated only a few minutes from the new AP7 motorway access, and the national coast road the A7 (formerly the N-340), allowing access to Malaga airport in 25 minutes. Riviera del Sol runs down to the beach and is adjacent to Calahonda. - Local buses run regularily from the airport to Riviera del Sol as well as taxis .
