There are many golf courses, shops and other amenities near by, as well as Marbella, Fuengirolla, San Pedro and Gibraltar are all a short distance away. There is a good choice of supermarkets nearby, and Puerto Banus has a huge 'El Corte Englaise Hypercor',hypermarket. The bus service from Malaga, in the North, to Gibralter in the South is excellent. There is a fast 'sports' ferry which runs to and from Banus to Marbella, all day long. This makes for a very pleasant day out, and the trip takes only 30 min each way. The historic town of Ronda lies about 40k to the north, and there is a regular bus service, or you can drive there in about 40 min. Gibralter is also about 40k down the good coastal road.
