Murcia: Murcia: The Los Alcazares area in the region of Murcia enjoys an average of 320 days of sunshine each year. The Costa Calida literally means warm coast and the semi-arid subtropical climate offers average annual temperatures of 18 degrees and Spain’s mildest winters. The Health Organization says the area has one of the healthiest climates in the world. The town is well connected to the recently upgraded motorway network and there are regular flights to and from many European cities to Murcia/San Javier airport; which is less than 10 minutes from the property. Within a half hour drive you can visit the busy cities of Cartagena and Murcia. Both cities are renowned as cultural and historical cities in the region of Murcia. Los Alcazares: Los Alcazares is situated in the Murcia region of South-Eastern Spain, also knows as the Costa Calida. The town sits on the western shore of the Mar Menor, a saltwater lagoon separated from the Mediterranean Sea by a 22km long strip of land called La Manga. At Los Alcazares you will find a host of shops, bars and restaurants. The beautiful blue flag beaches at Los Narejos are only 500 meters away and there are lots of other beaches of the Mar Menor locally to visit.
