The charming garden paths lead to the central feature, the swimming pool with waterfall, separate children's pool, seasonal poolside bar and restraurant.

Out and About The resort caters extensively for families and sports avtivities and throughout the summer season there are many activities that can be undertaken, especially Tennis, football (coaching and schools for kids), Horse Riding, Biking and Hiking. There are many trails within the surrounding pine forest Outside the resort other activities such as Sailing, windsurfing and Jetskiing are easy to organise. The Lagoon is worth visiting for its (often secluded) beaches and seaside restuarants and 20 minutes drive away at the Parque Mediterranean on the outskirts of Cartagena there is a large modern shopping centre containing a cinema, bowling alley and casino as well as many brand name shops. This is easy to get to and easy to park. The Naval town of Cartagena is worth exploring due to its history and architecture. About an hours drive away is the historic city of Murcia which also contains a combined Water Park and Zoo. Your holiday can be as quiet and relaxing or as energetic as you wish

Areas of Natural Beauty The resort is surrounded by a National Park and Pine Forest and close by on the road to Portman there is a nature trail leading up to the preserved but redundant Naval Gun site. This walk from the car park (about 5 mins from the resort) takes about 30 mins and is worth the excercise and for the views of the coastline at the top There are other walks and trails and most notable is the walk up to the top of "Lions Head" mountain which can be seen fron the villa Within the report is a small but perfectly kept beach and cove known as La Cala and this can be accessed via the scheduled report bus (timetable available from the hotel). There is a superbly located restuarant built into the rocks at the side of the cove Those wishing to drive down to the Mar Menor (viewed from the villa terrace), will be rewarded by the options of visiting the beaches either side of the strip and the many different and unique areas or zones many of which contain entertainment during the summer season
