The resort is set amongst the hills and there are spectacular views towards the warm waters of the Mar Menor. Places to Visit The village of Los Belones has grown as the resort of La Manga Club has grown. Ther are a number of quality restaurants. The historic Roman town of Cartegena is a 20 minuite drive away.Cartegena has benefited from recent investment and the waterfront has been completly redeveloped. There is plenty of evidence of the Romans including an amphitheatre.The old part of town has some quality shops and there is now a large department store in town. Murcia is a 45 minuite drive and is also worth a visit. The medievil town of Lorca is also a charming place and has a castle.

Beaches la Manga club has its own beach ,La Cala, which is accessible by road. There is a fish restaurant which overlooks he cove. The nearby beach of Calblanque is a nature reserve and is unspoil by any development. A little further away (10 minute drive) you will find the warm waters of the Mar Menor. An inland sea which offers water sports. Water sports can be arranged on site at the club.
