Just 250 m from the local beach + near excellent golf courses, this 3rd floor apartment is fully furnished + well equipped (is a home from home). There is a washing machine, television ( including British channels), DVD player. 2 lifts and a phone entry system.
There is a mini-market on site selling everything, including lovely fresh bread.
There are a wonderful selection of restaurants within walking distance- both Spanish and British.
La Cala village is a 10 minute walk away + is a hidden gem. It has a European Blue Flag beach, restaurants, including the Mijas Playa, beach bars, Play areas, shops, tennis courts and supermarkets. Market days are Wednesday and Saturday morning up to 1.30p.m.
During June-Sept, La Cala hosts some fantastic events including beach cinema screening and concerts. The evening horse racing at the Hippodrome just outside La Cala is not to be missed. It is a lively family event

There are many places to visit in this area, Mijas- a little Andalucian white village, Marbella Old Town, Puerto Cabopino and Puerta Banus with their wonderful marinas and cafe bars.
Fuengirola for shopping, eating out cheaply (Fish Alley), visiting the port and the Aqua Park. Benalmadena, Ronda. All can be reached by local bus.
Trips to Granada, Gibraltar and Morocco can be booked locally. The high speed train to Seville and Madrid leaves from Malaga. The alternative is just to relax and enjoy the beach, pool and sun.
