A modern, light ,split level house,set in a peaceful location, surrounded by lush gardens, with great views. Ideally situated within easy reach of several sandy, blue flag beaches,where swimming, fishing and snorkelling are popular. The best of both worlds, based in a tranquil area of natural beauty, but less than one mile from the town of Jalon with all its amenities, and only a few minutes from the sea .A community swimming pool is situated a short walk away.

Activities include golf, fishing, swimming, walking, bowls, and horse riding.There are caves which can be explored on the mountain. Jalon town, with bars, shops and quality, inexpensive restaurants, is a short walk away via a path through the orange groves.The larger towns of Calpe, Altea, Moraira and Denia, with more comprehensive shops' are only minutes away by car .Lliber International School is located 5 minutes away. The Jalon Valley, which is a wine growing region, is scenic and interesting, with small, typically Spanish villages and lovely restaurants, which offer the locally produced wines on their menus. The villa is an ideal base for touring and sightseeing.

Nearest Airport Alicante - 75 km Nearest Beach Calpe - 12 km Nearest Motorway 63 - 6 km Nearest Train Station Calpe - 12 km Alternative Airport Valencia - 130 km Situated in the Northern Costa Blanca, this area has a mountainous geography, which makes for splendid views.Here we have hot ,dry, summers evidenced by the dry river beds.There are castles and places of historic interest. Guadalest, a large medieval castle with great views is popular with tourists. There are the local ports of Javea and Denia, where you can watch the boats and sample the many bars and restaurants.Larger tourist attractions, including Terra Mittica Theme Park and Zoo, are found near to Benidorm,some 30 minutes away on the motorway The cities of Alicante and Valencia are worth a visit.They can be accessed by road, but also, there is a good train service to Valencia, a vibrant, beautiful city.Fiestas are held in Calpe, and Jalon hosts an annual Bull Running through the streets. Jalon's vineyards produce cheap, excellent wines, which can be purchased in local bodegas.

The large lounge has open, marble stairs, which lead to the three bedrooms and two bathrooms, set on two different levels.A feature fireplace houses a large log burning stove. There is a TV set which receives several satellite channels. BBC Radio 1/2/3 and 4 are also available on the TV. There is a DVD player, with a small library of films. Other entertainment is provided by a Stereo CD/ tape player with a good supply of Compact Discs .The dining area is in a south facing corner of the lounge,set next to a separate kitchen, with a large serving hatch.

Dining Area The dining room seats 6 people comfortably. The kitchen is separate, and situated next to the dining area. There is a large, arched serving hatch through from the kitchen, with a marble, feature shelf. There are also dining facilities outside on the covered terrace, and on a large stone table and benches in the garden.

The Jalon Area: There are many clean, sandy beaches, which are all a short car journey away.Calpe is the nearest seaside town and has all required amenities including two large beaches.It also has a popular weekly market. Moraira is a chic resort, with its large beach and proliferation of open air restaurants and bars and shops.Jalon town is only a short walk away, and has several bars and quality inexpensive restaurants, which offer wine included in the price of the 'menu of the day'. There is a large supermarket catering for all your culinary requirements. Jalon has two weekly markets, the largest of which is situated alongside the dry river bed.The Jalon Valley has many affordable restaurants .'.Pepes' in Alcalali ,' The Salamanca' and 'Casa Caty' in Jalon are great value.

How to get there: You can fly to Alicante airport from any provincial airport.Easy Jet, Ryanair, Bmibaby, Jet 2 and Monarch all operate regular budget flights Car Hire is easy to obtain. The local, Victoria Cars Company offer an excellent reliable service bookable on line. We have used them many times. All the main Car Rental firms operate from Alicante Airport. The property is less than an hour away via the A7/E15 motorway following the Valencia signs. Leave the motorway at Benissa and villa is some 4 miles away and easy to find, just 1 mile from the small town of Jalon. Full directions will be provided when you reserve the accommodation. If you travel via ferry, there are overnight stops you can use in Zaragoza or Teruel.
