30 minutes by car from Malaga airport - excellent parking adjacent to the terminus building which is big and airy and never seems crowded! Car hire is recommended and we have a special arrangement with an excellent firm who will provide as part of their fare ameet-and-greet at Malaga airport, escort to villa and a safe mechanism for key transfer. El Potro (restaurant and bar) is 3 minutes walk. El Coto (supermarket, bars, restaurants, pharmacy, bread shop, pizzeria, etc.) is 5 minutes walk. Fuengirola is 5 minutes by car; Puerto Banus/Marbella is 25 minutes by car; Mijas village is 15 minutes by car.

Golf: The Villa overlooks Mijas Golf (2 courses) and the golf club is a short car ride away (5-10 Mins). A car is necessary for proper enjoyment of this lovely villa. Further golf courses at La Cala Golf Resort (3 @18 hole courses) is only 15 minutes away by car.

Beaches: 5 minutes by car from the lovely beach at Fuengirola. 10 minutes by car from the extremely safe and sheltered beach at La Cala de Mijas - particularly good for children with a very good beachside restaurant and bar.
