Ideal for family or couple holidays - Children's swimming pools available with lifeguards in holiday season.This property is equipped to a high standard - "it is "home from home" and has everything you could possibly require.

Sabinillas & Puerto de la Duquesa are a pleasant 20/30 minute walk along the beach and a paved promenade, and few minutes drive. Estepona is a 10 minute drive away.There are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants in the Yacht Marina of Duquesa and on the seafront of Sabinillas. The old town of Estepona is well worth a visit - you will find shops, pavement cafes, beach bars, typically spanish restaurants and the old square where you can sit and watch the world go by. Gibraltar, Marbella and Puerto Banus are just 25 mins away by car.

There are three pools for the resort you can access, one the terrace overlooks and two others (1 pool very close up a few steps, other 5 minutes walk) with lifeguard in summer season and childrens pool. Lots more golf courses close by. Casares Golf is "over the road" and has lovely terrace for coffee and drinks as well as serving meals. It takes 10 - 15 minutes to walk to the local beach (with great beach bar/restaurant) or couple of minutes in car - there is parking at the beach. Coming back it is slightly uphill. Taxis are available near the beach or will come to the resort. A car is recommended to visit the many attractions in the area but is not essential.

Casares Costa: Sabinillas is just a few minutes drive and has a good collection of shops for 'everyday' needs (including 4 large supermarkets). Sabinillas is a small town next door to the port, it is typically Spanish but with the increased popularity there there are some fantastic restaurants on the sea front. Just 5 mins drive or a stroll along along the paved promenade is the port of Duquesa where there is every restaurant imaginable: typical Spanish, Italian Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Seafood, Steak Houses – basically there is anything you need in the port and more, including generous happy hours in the bars. You will find further details and more information on restaurants in the information folder in the apartment. There are plenty of other places to visit, and for a days outing try Ronda plus the historic towns of Cadiz, Grenada and Seville. Don't miss the dolphins in Gibraltar or a short drive to Casares in the mountains. Puerto Banus and Marbella are 25 mins drive.

More to do and see in the area Driving south towards the Atlantic coast there is Tarifa, a surfer’s paradise and only 50 mins away. From here you can take the fast ferry to Morocco, a 45 mins crossing. For children there are the superb water parks at Mijas and Algerciras, the Tivoli Gardens at Benalmadena, the Selwo Safari park at nearby Estepona and the Funny Beach towards Fuengirola. Don't forget people watching in Puerto Banus or shopping in Marbella. Just opened in Sabinillas - free - a small water park and playground for children. On the seafront there are further play areas and even outdoor gym equipment for the adults. The newly paved square in Sabinillas is a great spot for coffee and drinks but nothing quite beats the amazing seafront promenade. Head straight there for a welcome drink and you will soon feel relaxed and in thre holiday spirit it is really beautiful and still relatively unspoilt and not crowded. Casares del Golf golf course "over the road" from the resort provides lovely terrace for drinks.

The Costa del Sol / Malaga Region: All year round sunshine. Ideal for beach, golf, sailing, sightseeing. Other activities include water park for the children (30 minute drive away), wild life park (20 minute drive away), riding, sailing, diving, walking, culture and history. If you do want to venture further afield then the Costa del Sol is a great location for visiting other parts of Andalusia or Southern Spain, such as the cities of Cadiz, Cordoba, Granada, Jerez de la Frontera, Malaga & Seville, and are all within easy reach and steeped in their own history and culture.This area is very upmarket and not frequented by Package Tours. If you like package tour holidays and lots of nightclubs/wild nightlife then the Duquesa/Estepona area is not the place for you!! Whilst Duquesa/Sabinillas/Estepona are lovely quality Spanish towns the prices do not reflect the very expensive prices that you will find in Marbella & Puerto Banus. Its the great thing about the area you still feel as if you are in "real" Spain

How to get there: Malaga - Budget Airlines fly from most European Countries into Malaga. Scheduled Airlines (Iberia, Lufthansa, Air France, British Airways) fly into Malaga. Gibraltar - Easy Jet and British Airways have daily flights into Gibraltar. Monarch now fly from Manchester.Ryanair fly into Jerez which is about 60 minutes drive. It is a 25 minute drive from Gibraltar, pick up a car on the Spanish side, or take a bus to Sabinillas. It takes about 50 minutes on toll road from Malaga, lots of car hire companies there or take a bus from Arrivals to Marbella or Estepona and pick up a taxi there - works out much cheaper. We can arrange pick up on request.

Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel for any reason, and we are able to re-let the apartment then your deposit will be returned to you. We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance to cover such unforeseen circumstances.
