This beautiful apartment has been furnished to a very high standard, and is in keeping with the village style, with terracotta floors and wooden beams. The property has central heating and air conditioning. The spacious living room has a fireplace, two large cane sofas and chair, a stereo, satellite TV , a DVD player and WiFi. The dining area seats six, with doors leading off to a sunny terrace, with sun loungers and garden table and chairs and a barbeque.. From here there are spectacular mountain views, the olive terraces and the church. The terrace is very private, and also has a shaded area at the back.

The fully equipped kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. There is a double bedroom with a king size bedand a twin, Egyptian cotton sheets, and both with fitted teak wardrobes. The luxury white bathroom has a large vanity unit, and hairdryer. This apartment is on a new development of about twenty houses, and has been stone-built to blend in with the village.

The beautiful village of Deia is located between the mountains and the sea. The peace, beauty and tranquillity of the area is second to none. The village has a slightly bohemian atmosphere, attracting writers, artists and poets., and has remained unspoilt by tourists. From the apartment there is a beautiful walk down to the beach, through the olive groves, this takes about 20 minutes, or a few minutes drive by car. Deia has excellent restaurants ranging from the wonderful local tapas bar, to the michelin starred Josefs, and El Olivo, and voted the best restaurant in Spain. There are 3 or 4 bars, an art gallery and a few gift shops. The local bakery is 2 minutes walk from the apartment, where you can get delicious bread and croissants for your breakfast, and also sells practically everything you will need for your stay. At the beach there is a beach bar, and also a very good seafood restaurant. Deia has an excellent bus service, so although a car is recommended, it is not essential.
