The villa is located on a private street, in the exclusive suburban area of Las Rotas, only 2km from downtown Dénia. The sandy beach is 100 meters from the house; the yacht harbor, supermarkets, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. Several golf and tennis courses are nearby. The house is surrounded by single family villas in a very quiet location. The house is equipped with central heating, all household items, refrigerator, washing machine, TV, ironing board, kitchen utensils, household and bedroom linens. A sun terrace is located in front of the house, and a shady sitting area behind. Garden furniture available. Private heated whirl pool in garden.

General information:: The Swiss/American owners of the rental property live next door. They speak German, English, French and Spanish. They have lived in Dénia for 14 years and can advise you on restaurants, activities, sports, shopping etc.

Sports:: Several excellent golf courses and tennis courts are nearby. The yacht harbor offers many water connected activities. Boats of any size, with or without crew, can be chartered. The nearby Montgo Natural Preserve invites you for hiking tours. Riding stables nearby: they offer lessons, day rides and even overnight rides.

Restaurants: Dénia is the gastronomical capital of the Costa Blanca. It offers dozens of restaurants with an international cuisine: Spanish, Italian, French, German, Swiss, Dutch, Chinese, Indonesian and others. Here you can find the traditional Paella, fish that has been caught that same day, tapas of any kind. And naturally everything with a good bottle of Spanish wine. When you go to a typical Spanish restaurant, you have to be aware that lunch time starts at 1:30 PM and lasts until 4 PM, and dinner starts at 9 PM. Other restaurants serve lunch starting at Noon and dinner after 6 PM. If in doubt, call the restaurant beforehand. Also many restaurant need a reservation.

Guest Comments - July 2010 - Genthod, Geneva In July 2010, we spent two weeks in this lovely villa, located in a quiet and green area of Denia, not far from the sea. We are a married couple from Switzerland who had the opportunity to get to know the owners and visit the villa before. Soon afterwards we decided to rent the house for our next vacation in Spain. Our stay in the house exceeded all our expectations. Upon arrival, Lolita and Owe welcomed us as if we were long-time friends. They really made all efforts to make us feel comfortable, showed us around the house and the garden, provided us with drinks and informed us about the best places to visit in town. The villa is spacious, well equipped, very clean and perfectly maintained (everything works). Nothing looks cheap in this house, for example supplies like bedsheets and towels are of fine quality. Everything is available to make a vacation as pleasant as possible.

The owners, who live next door, went out of their way to make my stay comfortable in every way. I can't say enough positive things about them. Lolita, who speaks fluent Spanish, English, German & French, knows just about everyone in town & can make great recommendations on where to eat & what to do. Ove, who speaks fluent English & German, is warm, hospitable & helpful in every way. The description of the villa is accurate, it is impecably maintained, surrounded by gorgeous gardens & the photos don't do it justice. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, but just steps from the beach. Along the coast is a promenade and with a short walk, can take you to wonderful swimming coves & restaurants that overlook the Mediterranean Sea. It is a perfect location for a romantic get-away but also would be great for a family vacation. I highly recommend this property and its owners
