Stunning Denia Penthouse Apartment This stunning Penthouse Apartment on this select development has beautiful Spanish floor tiles, under floor heating, air-conditioning in all the rooms (seriously needed during the summer months!), glass shelving in the salon, 32-inch TV, DVD & CD system which plays music to the terraces so that you can chill whilst sunbathing or dining outside. There is a wonderful selection of plants & cacti in blue-glazed ceramic pots & lighted planters which make the terraces especially attractive. The furnishings are of a modern, high standard quality-not the typical rental furniture; there is an L-shaped blue settee which comfortably seats 7 people, modern chrome lighting & a cleverly extending metal & glass dining table with 6 matching seats. Denia: Traditional and Modern Denia is a beautiful Spanish coastal town, equidistant from Alicante & Valencia, which enjoys exceptional weather throughout the year. The apartment is only a 3 minute drive from the town centre or a lovely 15 minute stroll up the beach. There are numerous beach bars & restaurants where you can enjoy tapas or excellent meals, wonderful fashion shops where you can add to your wardrobe & a weekly market for browsing and getting that bargain. Immediately opposite the apartment there are a number of very good restaurants and pleasant bars to enjoy the outstanding Spanish wines. You can go walking or drive around the National Park area and look across the amazing sea views. There is also the daily ferry to Ibiza & Mallorca or the day boat along the coast to Javea, Moraira & Calpe. Denia also enjoys wonderful Fiestas, steeped in history and myths, where the whole town is involved. Everything you need for a wonderful & unforgettable holiday can be had in Denia.
Climate / Temperature: The World Health Organisation classifies Denia's annual climate as one of the world's best with about 300 days of sun & 2800 hours of sunshine which equates to around 9 hours a day of beautiful blue skies, warm days and golden sunsets. Denia enjoys a micro climate due to its position on the tip of the Costa Blanca coast which provides ideal characteristics for year-round living. This micro climate also ensures clear sunny days with fresh sea air that makes Denia an excellent location for leisure holidays. The sea breeze also provides a pleasant cooling effect on those hot sunny summer days. Temperatures: April and May are a very comfortable 23 to 26c/73 to 78f; June is the beginning of serious summer with around 28c/82f; July & August are gloriously hot; September to mid October are normally 28c/82f. Denia is truly wonderful so come & enjoy yourselves! Perfect climate for the next exciting America's Cup races in Valencia which are less than one hour away.
Restaurant / Bar Guide & Golf: There is a Restaurant & Bar Guide in the apartment which lists numerous places all around the area which have been visited and enjoyed by many of our visitors - and us! There are Michelin-star rated restaurants, as well as quality dining to be enjoyed in the town, immediately opposite the Apartment, in the new yacht Marina as well as in the adjoining towns. Whether it is typical local Spanish tapas or wonderful paella, excellent mouth-watering Indian cuisine or fantastic Italian pasta, beach front bars, sports bars or bodegas, there is something for everyone who enjoys the finer side to life! As for Golf fanatics there is the stunning 6000 metre 18 hole La Sella course only 10 minutes away which is both challenging and enjoyable & adjoins the Marriott Golf & Spa Resort which is open to visitors so the ladies can pamper themselves whilst the men visit the 19th hole. There are 5 more 18 hole courses close-by as well as some 9 hole courses at Javea and Moraira and other close towns.
Town / City / Golf Guide: In the apartment you will find a listing of places to visit in the immediate area. There are many wonderful Fiestas that take place throughout the year perpetuating both religious and pagan festivals, all of which are unique to this area - Moors and Christians, Fallas, Running of the Bulls etc. There are also Popular & Classical Concerts and Firework displays. While you are here you can visit Valencia and Alicante which are only 45 minutes away where you will find fantastic shopping, culture, bullfights and interesting sightseeing. Or you can go inland to visit the pretty Spanish pueblos where the life goes on in the traditional relaxed Spanish way. Golf? There are 25 courses in the Valencia Region all of which are within easy driving distance of Denia. These vary from 3000 metre 9 hole courses to long and challenging 18 hole 7200 metre Championship courses. RATES HAVE BEEN DECREASED - REAL VALUE FOR MONEY. Recently re-decorated and fully-furnished. Bright & light. Full sets of bed linen & bathroom towels are provided for each room. A 25% Deposit is payable in advance to secure the Reservation with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. There is a refundable £350 Damage Deposit. There is a £100 Cleaning Fee to cover the before & after cleaning and the professional laundering of towels and linen.
Changeover days are flexible and can be agreed. Checking-out time is 12 noon so that cleaning can be carried out. Checking in time by arrangement. Special Winter (Oct-Mar) rates are attractively priced. The Penthouse is on the second floor and is reached by a short flight of steps. There is a reserved parking space allocated to the apartment. There are security blinds in all rooms. For your added security and peace of mind there are window locks. A safe is also provided free of charge. There are electronic vehicle entrance and exit gates. The main front entrance gate utilizes a coded key. This is a very safe and secure apartment and area. |
