Our apartment is on the Casares del Sol development, situated between the ports of Estepona and Puerta del Duquesa. The development boasts 6 outdoor pools with children's facilities. It is just 5 mins walk to an unspoilt beach with a chirinquita beach bar. A further 10 mins walk will take you to Sabinillas town where you will be spoilt for choice for eatiing places. All tastes are catered for. There are supermarkets, open Sunday market, pharmacies, banks, butchers etc.
For the energetic amongst you the apartment is surrounded by quality golf in abundance. The nearest course being just across the road at Casares Golf & Country Club. Within a further five minute walk there is Finca del Cortisan. A Jack Nicklaus designed course with one of his acclaimed golfing Academies. Try it quick before prices rise - it is fantastic.

Costa del Sol boasts an average of 320 days of sunshire a year. Estepona with its extensively long promenade and sandy beaches has everything for the holidaymaker. The village of Casares from which the development takes its name is a short drive into the mountains. It is the most photographed, picture postcard pueblo blanco (white village) in Spain. A must to visit and experience the fantastic views and quaint scenery.
Gibraltar is a 25 minutes drive for tax free purchases, and the sight of the Rock with its apes, and views across the Gibraltar Straits to Africa.
How to get there: Fly Easyjet/Monarch Air/Thomson Fly to Malalga airport OR you can fly to Gibraltar with Monarch Air. Casares del Sol is 40 mins from Malaga and 30 mins from Gibraltar. Main road (motorway) all the way and easy to find. Plenty of inexpensive Car hire companies direct from Malaga airport but we have had excellent service from SIXT.com
