This Luxury Air Conditioned Villa is situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac in a mainly residential area in an elevated position, with fabulous uninterrupted views down to the Mediterranean. It is furnished to a very high standard with marble floors throughout. Luxurious well furnished modern open plan lounge/diner with TV (UK terrestrial and some satellite channels), DVD/CD player, open fire and fully glazed patio doors to the main terrace with stunning views over the valley down to the Med. Both Indoor and full 'Al-fresco' dining facilities with built-in barbecue.

Double/twin master bedroom with en-suite shower/bath/jacuzzi, wc, basin, bidet. 2 further twin/double bedrooms. All 3 bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes There is a large family shower room with wc, basin and walk-in shower. Guest wc/cloakroom in entrance hall. Fully equipped modern high quality kitchen with granite surfaces, fridge/freezer, drinks fridge, hob, oven/grill, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. Private garden and rooftop sun terrace with sunbeds ideal for private sunbathing, with additional dining facilities. Private garden with 6 sunloungers, 2 sun umbrellas and outdoor shower.

Location/Beaches/Places Of Interest Calahonda is approx 35 Kilometres and 30 minutes drive from Malaga Airport which has many flights to and from the UK and Euorope on a daily basis. There are many local and international car-hire companies based at the airport, details of which can be supplied if required. Calahonda is 15 mins drive from both Marbella & Fuengoirola and has has fine, safe, sandy beaches of its own with many other local beaches a very short drive away along the coast. The beaches, restaurants and shops of La Cala De MijasVillage and Cabo Pina Port are both 5 minutes drive along the coast. Inland are the beautiful white Andalucian villages and towns of Mijas Pueblo, Ojen, Istan, Benhavis, Alhaurin, Coin and Monda amongst others. Gibraltar and the old Moorish cites of Ronda, Seville, Granada and Cadiz are further away but can be reached by car on the fast, new motorways. Malaga has the Picasso Museum, great shopping and many international restaurants.

Eating Out: There are 4 restaurants and a club within easy walking distance of the house In addituion to this Calahonda has around 40 bars and restaurants in the centres and dotted around the community, plus good local supermarket shopping options. There are also too many beach side & village restaurants to list just a short drive away along the coast in both directions, plus of course Malaga, Fuengirola, Marbella & Puerto Banus.

Shopping: There is a mini-market within easy walking distance of the house and there are several good supermarkets in Calahonda plus plenty of mini-markets and more general shops in El Zoco centre.. There are new shopping malls a short drive away along the N340 at 'La Canada' Marbella and 'Miramar' Fuengirola boasting a good selection of fashion, sports & shoe shops and large hypermarkets.

Sports Facilities There are around 40 Golf courses on the Costa del Sol from Malaga to Gibralter . The nearest are Cabopino, Miraflores, La Cala & Mijas and here is a 9 hole pitch & putt in Calahonda. Sunshine Golf in La Cala offers a booking service for all courses. Contact them on Tel 0034 952 494 161. There are many tennis clubs along the coast. In Calahonda itself you will find the Club Del Sol approx 5-10 minutes from the Villa with tennis/squash/paddle courts & gymnasium on a pay & play basis. No membership required. If you are staying in winter, you are about a 2-2½ hours drive from the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada. Water sports, dolphin trips & horse riding are available locally in Cabo Pino & La Cala
