Gran Calahonda is a beautiful modern apartment complex on the Costa del Sol, very popular with families and Golfers.It is a ten minute walk to the local beach. Nearby are restaurants to cater for all tastes, supermarkets, medical centres, churches, a gym and tennis facilities. We have a two bedroom, two bathroom first floor apartment, south facing overlooking one of the three pools on the complex. The apartment sleeps four comfortably. Fully fitted kitchen and utility room including dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer.

A/C and heating combined (on a meter). Modern and comfortable living/dining area with patio doors onto large balcony with outside dining area. SKY television plus DVD and music system. Each bedroom has two single beds but the main bedroom converts to a queen size bed if required. There are patio doors onto the balcony. Travel cot and high chair available if required. Gran Calahonda is a secure gated complex with video entry, own car park and security guard.

Calahonda: Calahonda is an ideal location, it has many restaurants,bars and lovely beaches but is also a great location to use a a base. Furengirola is just 10 min. Marbella is 20 min. Puerto Banus is 30 min. Belamadena is 15 - 20 min. all by car. You can also travel to further tourist areas such as Ronda and Sierra Nevada,.Grenada. Calahonda has lots of lovely local beaches which cater for all tastes. Cabopino is a very popular beach and has something for everyone. You can hire sunbeds, umbrellas and take part in numerous water sports. There are more than 40 golf courses within a short drive of Calahonda which makes it very popular with Golfers. There are many shopping malls with excellent bargains to be had, water parks, a zoo and Tivioli world in Belamadena is a must for the children.The beautiful Church is Mijas is worth a visit along with the infamous donkey or horse and carriage rides through the town. Calahonda also has it's own mini train to take you around the town.

Local Attractions: Calahonda is an excellent location.. It is within easy reach of many attractions. Local buses are about a 7min walk, as is local taxi's. If you perfer to drive then most local attractions are about a 10 -20 min drive. The best local beach is Cabapino, this is about a 5min drive.. It has all the water sports available and is a very nice beach. There are many golf courses locally. Things for children are: Furengirola Zoo, Tivolei World.(theme park) Belamadena.Water park (Furengirola). Crododile world.(Torremolinos) .
