The beach and the town with it's vast array of restaurants, bars and shops are situated within half a mile and easily reached through either walking or driving. Underground secure parking is available which is accessible from the apartment both by lift and stairs. Although parking is available it isn't necessary to have a car as all shops, bars, banks, restaurants, amenities and beach are all easily accessible by foot. There is a good value, regular and reliable bus service from Calahonda along the coast in both directions with speedy access to Fuengirola, Marbella, La Cala, Puerto Cabopino and other locations.

The flat is well located for the local shops, restaurants and bars in 'El Zoco', as well as the local Calahonda beach; all within a few minutes walk. Children welcome (a travel cot and high chair are available), long term renters welcome, suitable for elderly or infirm, wheelchair accessible via lift with direct access to ground floor pavement or basement garage. Sorry, no all male or female groups and no pets. There are 3 pools available within the gated community equipped with showers, changing, bed and toilet facilities. The gated community is protected by security guards and has wonderful gardens and views from both the balconies and the pools and seating areas. Adjacent to the community is a large shopping centre Supersol, newsagent and Los Olivos Restaurant which is equipped with free WI-Fi as well as an excellent genuine Tapas bar.

Calahonda is literally on the coast, located 15 minutes away from Marbella and is a 30-minute drive from Malaga airport and the interesting historic Spanish city of Malaga with its new Museo de Picasso and other wonderful attractions. There are many interesting places to visit such as the beautiful village of Mijas, Fuengirola, Marbella, Puerto Banus, and Gibraltar to name a few. The beautiful historic towns of Rhonda, Granada and Seville are within two to three hours drive. Many towns have a variety of markets and fiestas worth going to. There are several beaches within walking, easy driving distance or the local bus, which is very accessible and frequent. These include Puerto Cabopino, Cala, Riviera, Fuengirola, Torrenueva, Calahonda itself or further a field in Marbella, Nerja or a multitude of others. There are many beautiful walks and mountains to explore all within easy reach.
