Sa Plana is a wonderful private country house set in 4000 m2 of land, situated at the quiet rural location of Port Verd, surrounded by woodlands and gardens. This is an ideal retreat for your perfect holiday. Costa Los Pinos and Cala Bona border on the edge of this area, and you can be within minutes on the beach at Port Verd. This villa is for those who search for total peace. You can walk around the wonderful gardens, chill out by the pool and laze on the sun beds. From the upper level terraces you can view the pool and the coastline. Every room comes with its own unique picture postcard views. All the bedrooms have recently been refurnished. You will find on each level, lounges with large comfy sofas and Freeview televisions, and a selection of books for those who want an alternative.

On the upstairs level you have three bedrooms - one twin bedroom and two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lounge. The fourth bedroom is on the ground floor with and a bathroom and shower. They are all very spacious, each with its own style and decor. One has a walk in wardrobe and the others have floor to ceiling wardrobes. The house sleeps 8 people, but in addition by arrangement the house will sleep a further two adults, plus a cot. In the large kitchen you have an oven, hob, king-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave and all other usual kitchen utensils. Also in this room is a large dining table. Just outside the kitchen door you have another large dining table, where you usually dine in the summer months. Leading from the kitchen, you have a separate laundry room with washing and drying machines. On the ground level you have a secure garage for two cars.

Sa Plana is set in the rural part of the village which does make an exceptional alternative to the typical tourist holiday. It's a way in which larger families can comfortably be together without the stress and noise that you can experience on a general package holiday. If you do feel the need to be with the rest of the holiday-makers, you only have to jump in to your car or taxi, and within minutes you can find some great night entertainment in the local bars, hotels and local souvenir shops. Within 5 to 15 minutes walking, depending on how quick you want to get there, you will find the small bay of Port Verd, with it's own private beach and tiny port. If you make friends with the locals you might be even lucky enough to go on a fishing trip with them.

Things to do: When out and about, you may want to visit different places in the area, perhaps visit the underwater Cave of Drach at Porto Cristo. Take bike rides through the country, or take the new bike path that runs from Costa Los Pinos to Son Severa. There is a local ranch for those who like a trek, also several glass bottom boat trips that take you to local ports.
