Other attractions include Torremolinos and Fuengirola Waterparks and Selwo Marina situated in Paloma Park. There are boat trips available to see the dolphins at Benalmadena Marina. Also Fuengirola Zoo is well worth a visit. Also there are many markets which take place on different days of the week. Fuengirola market on Saturdays at the Ferrier Ground is exceptionally good for fresh produce, as well as the many bargains that are on offer. |

The Costa del Sol: The Costa Del Sol (translated as The Coast of the Sun) boasts a warm sunny climate for most of the year, with many attractions and places of interest. There are plenty of Shops, Bars, Restaurants and not forgetting many golf courses for the golfing enthusiasts. Benalmadena / Torrequebrada: Torrequebrada is situated in the Southern Andalucian region of the Costa Del Sol, approximately 15km from Malaga Airport. It is between the main holiday resorts of Benalmadena and Fuengirola. This makes it an ideal place to stay as you are not far from the many bars & nightclubs of Fuengirola or the picturesque marina of Benalmadena where you can enjoy a lovely meal or drink whilst enjoying the view. Not forgetting the beach is approximately 10 minutes walk away. Details of attractions, markets, golf courses etc, can be found in the apartment. The entrance to Torrequebrada international golf course is only 3 mins drive away. How to get there: Nearest Airport - Malaga, there are cheap flights available from a variety of airlines eg. Monarch, Jet 2, Thomson, Easyjet etc. The Apartment is approximately 15 minutes drive from the airport. Local taxis are available at an approximate cost of 30 - 35 euros. Alternative travel can be arranged - details on request. |
