The Don Joaquin Development in Benalmaden Costa is close to the Marina with its beautiful flotilla of boats and yachts and with various restaurants, shops , water sports and entertainment on hand. The garden and pool area are quite close to apartment's private terrace gate. The shops, banks and supermarket , cafes bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance (85 metres). The apartment is also within easy walking distance to Arroyo de Miel, the Spanish village, which offers its unique weekly market experience on Fridays and traditional entertainment. You might enjoy trying your bargaining skills for the fresh fruit and vegetables, clothes, leather goods, paintings, rugs and ceramics etc. There is so much to see and do in this location. This beautiful village has some very fine examples of local Spanish architure, culture and cuisine.

There are many local entertainments such as Tivoli World, the Aquarium, theatres, an ice-skating rink and the fine parks. There are excursions to Gibraltar, Malaga, Marbella, Nerja and the tiny, picturesque mountain village Mijas with its spectacular views. Buses and coach stops sre approximately 100 yds from the external gate. But if you just want to take in the sea air, you can sunbathe on the long stretches of sandy beach or swim in the mild Mediterranean Sea. Opportunities are available to play golf . There are approximately 40 courses in the area. You can enjoy water sports, cycling, horse riding, fishing and many other sports. Or just relax on the sun loungers on the terrace or by the gardens and pool. The terrace has a private gate which opens on to the beautiful well tended garden and the pool .
