Delightful Shepherd's Stable & Cottage in Almogia: Stunning Inland Location

This is a delightful shepherd’s cottage which was formerly just one room with a fireplace. The small and cosy cottage has been extended to create a double bedroom and an en suite bathroom and the existing room is now a lovely lounge with kitchen area. The cottage will sleep a maximum of 4 people with the use of a sofa bed and a baby cot can also be provided. The lounge has a wood burning stove and a kitchen area with a cooker and fridge/freezer. The bathroom has a large walk-in rain shower. There is a music system and TV for watching DVDs only. We can lend you CDs and DVDs from our collection. Outside, there is a terrace for lounging and dining and just across our small river, there is a swimming pool which is a reformed water depositor (please note that there is currently no shallow end).

The old existing stable is a lounge with kitchen area. There is a music system and we can let you borrow CDs from our collection. Location: Almogia is a stunning white pueblo nestled on the side of a hill, with narrow streets filled with everything which is typical of inland Andalusia. The village is close to El Torcal which is a limestone region and is a site of natural beauty. The campo is wonderful for artists, walkers, wildlife enthusiasts, cyclists or for just lazy around! For those who prefer the beaches, they are only 40 minutes away. Almogia itself has restaurants and bars serving typical Andalusian dishes. There are also some lovely restaurants in other local villages which are definately worth a try! The village also has shops and banks and the local market is every Tuesday.
