Our well-equipped semi-detached villa has full air-con, internet access and and substantial areas of sunny and shaded terracing from which you can enjoy the views in all directions, and especially across to the hills and setting sun in the West. There is a large private pool (8M x 4M, 1.4-1.8M) with its own toilet and shower room and gas barbecue, and attractive lighting to entice you to enjoy an evening dip! Pool heating is available 1 Apr - 30 Nov at small extra cost - recommended for Apr May Jun Oct Nov.

Ground floor: large dining /sitting room with lovely views across to the hills, TV with UK Freeview & Spanish stations, DVD player, kitchen + w/m, d/w, m/w and f/freezer, and there is also a downstairs toilet. Upstairs: three twin bedrooms and family bath/shower room. Two bedrooms have stunning views, one with balcony and the other with en-suite bath/shower room. Free off-road parking and arrival pack on request. Ideal for a long or short stay at any time of the year.

Most resorts offer fishing & sailing and Marbella, Puerto Banus & Fuengirola have scuba-diving facilities. Alhaurin El Grande & Coin (3 & 10km) have shops, supermarkets, banks, ATMs, & post office. Mjias (8km) is a world-famous Andalucian hill village with many tourist attractions. Marbella (25km) offers a huge range of shops for all tastes. Fuengirola (20km) has a 5km sandy beach & bay. Malaga (35km) is a major tourist centre with a large Picasso museum - he was born there! Nerja (50km) has fantastic caves, and Benalmadena is a well-known beach resort with Tivoli World water park and fantastic cable car ride to top of 700M mountain. Ronda (2hrs), Granada for Alhambra Palace (2hrs) & Sevilla (3hrs) are well worth day trips. There are two local convenience stores only 5 & 10 mins walk away, both open for extended hours. An excellent 4 star hotel with bar and quality restaurant is just 400m from the villa and there are many other restaurants and bars within 10 mins drive. The golf course clubhouse also offers good meals in an informal setting. Alhaurin Golf offers the perfect location for any holiday, whether you want to relax (pool, golf, lots of sandy beaches easily within daily reach) or to explore Andalucia's fascinating history, or indulge in retail therapy (Marbella, Puerto Banus, Malaga and Estepona). We can also advise on specialist activities such as horse-riding, walking, fishing, and scuba.

All bedrooms have full air-con. Bedroom 1 has en-suite facilities and fantastic views across to the golf course and mountains, bedroom 2 has a balcony also with fantastic views, and bedroom 3 has 2 single beds and a canvas cot which can easily be assembled. In all three bedrooms, the twin beds can be pushed together - there are no obstacles!

Location: Casa Bruja is situated directly on the prestigious and challenging Alhaurin Golf course (par 72) designed by Seve Ballesteros; reduced green fees can be arranged through the English owners, who will also be delighted to provide tailored information about the local area. Alhaurin Golf is only 30 minutes from Malaga Airport & 30 minutes from the sandy and attractive Fuengirola beach, and tennis, walking and horse-riding are nearby. Major shopping centres such as Marbella are nearby, while the bustling medieval town of Alhaurin El Grande is just 3km away. Benalmadena has a the Tivoli Water-themed park which is ideal for kids and there is a spectacular cable car ride up the nearby 700M mountain. The villa is well sited for day trips to Estepona, Malaga, Nerja caves, Ronda, Antequera and Granada's world-famous Alhambra. You can also escape to the very attractive mountains and lakes of El Chorro & Ardales, where part of a Bond film was made.

Internet and outside facilities Smoking is OK outside, but PLEASE not in the villa. There is a portable gas barbecue in the terrace & pool area. Internet access is provided via a USB dongle rated at 7.2MBPS, which provides good local speed and signal strength. There is no charge for the first 250MB of data transfer per week, though we do ask for a EUR100 refundable security deposit against the loan of the dongle. It costs 5c (EUR0.05) per MB for data transfers above 250MB/week , and data counting software is provided. Special long-term (more than 2 weeks) rental rates are available by negotiation.

Local Guides / Maps / Sightseeing: A more detailed guide to the villa's facilities and local sightseeing suggestions is provided to all enquirers, together with detailed route directions etc. Local maps and guide books are available in the villa. Extra cleaning facilities are available on request.

Transport: A car is strongly recommended but not absolutely essential, as we can recommend cheap and reliable taxi services to and from the airport and locally while you are enjoying all the facilities at Alhaurin Golf and our villa.

Golf: Casa Bruja is absolutely the perfect location for a golf-based vacation. The villa is directly opposite the 12th tee of the prestigious and challenging main 18 hole course (par 72 - 6045M) at Alhaurin Golf which was designed by Seve Ballesteros, and there are two other courses on site. We normally expect guests to arrive after 15:00 on the day of arrival, and to leave before 10:00 on day of departure, as this gives us time to clean the villa between lettings. If your travel plans conflict with this guideline, it's ESSENTIAL to negotiate with the owners BEFORE placing a booking. 20% Deposit is required with booking, with the balance payable 6 weeks before departure. Bookings within 6 weeks before departure require full payment with reservation. Pool heating is available on request 1 Apr - 30 Nov at an extra charge of 50 EUR/wk. A EUR150 breakage and security deposit is due with the final payment, and will be refunded in full within two weeks after departure, provided no damage has been reported. Nightly Rates are for the whole property, for periods less than 1 week. * Rental price is quoted in EUROS, payable to a nominated German bank account. GBP are also very welcome at the current exchange rate, payable into a UK bank account. Other currencies including USD are welcome by negotiation. Internet access is provided via a USB dongle, at no charge for the first 250MB of data transfer per week, and only 5c (EUR0.05) per MB for data transfers above 250MB/week; data counting software is provided and there is a EUR 100 refundable deposit on the dongle.
