The villa is just 5 minutes from Alhaurin el Grande, 10 minutes from Mijas famous for it's donkeys and typical Spanish Pueblo, 15-20 minutes from the beaches of Fuengirola nd Torremelinos, and 25 minutes from Marbella and Puerto Banus . Alhaurín el Grande which is only 4km away overlooks the Guadalhorce valley, rich with olive and orange groves. It has all the typical facilities of a small friendly Spanish town, supermarkets, shops, banks, cash machines, bars & restaurants serving a whole range of food, everything to tickle the taste buds. Many cultural activities take place here like the jazz flamenco festival and fair in June and processions in Semana Santa (Easter). The Sierra Nevada mountains and the famous Alhambra Palace in Granada are only an hour and half drive away. The lively resort of Benalmadena is only 15 minutes away, which has a wide variety of entertaiment, including the theme park, Tivoli World, a water theme park and a mountain cable car.

Alhaurin Golf is a truly beautiful course overlooking the Mijas mountains and the Mediterranean sea, the par 72 course designed by Seve Ballesteros also has superb practising facilities, with a spacious natural grass driving range, putting green, chipping green and a pretty 9 hole academy course. The course is made up of 5 par fives, 5 par threes and 8 par fours, providing a balance for low and high handicappers alike. Water comes into play on three holes and greens are lightly guarded by bunkers in most cases. The signature hole is number six, a par five dog- leg right with the most amazing tee positions and views overlooking the Mediteranean sea. The drop in height from the trees is absolutely unique and leaves most players with more 2 more shots to reach the green, well protected by bunkers, but not difficult to putt. This is one of those holes that every golfer must play at laest once in their life.The trees and plants within the course are typically Mediterranean with plenty of pine trees, Spanish Oaks, cypress, orange trees, palms and olives, plus a wide range of aromatic plants like thyme and rosemary.
