Stylish,comfortable, very private detached Villa in its own grounds. Located just into the country to enjoy the sweeping mountain views and country walks, but not too far from the hustle and bustle of the nightlife if you wish. The villa is located between the smart upmarket town of Alhaurin de la Torre, and the traditional whitewashed town of Alhaurin el Grande. both within 5 minutes drive. Here you will find plenty of restaurants, bars, discos, shops, banks, supermarkets, outdoor markets, sports complexes, shooting clubs, golf, walking, horse riding, and on the coast water sports and visits to the water park, Zoos, Tivoli world, Sea world and more.

One of our pleasures is to dine in one of the many beach restaurant only 20 minutes drive away and enjoy the smell of the BBQ sardines. Car is essential because of the rural situation, although the bus stops in both directions are only 5 minutes walk away. Marbella, the lakes,and Granada are all within easy driving distance.

Alhaurin de la Torre is located between the Mountains of Mijas and the Valley of the Guadalhorce River. It is 17 Kms from Málaga city and 8 Kms from the airport. We are looking at installing internet connection but at present it is not available. but it is available locally.

The garden area is large with fruit trees & palms. A large terrace accommodates 6/8 sunbeds, dining table & chairs. There are also sun umbrellas to take some shade outside as the pool & terrace are in the sun all day. The entrance is through double gates unto a large drive where there is room to park at least 4 cars. The swimming pool is 8 mtrs x 4 mtrs with a round Roman end. From 1 metre deep to 2 meters deep. This area is quite enchanting in the evening with underwater lights in the pool, & patio lights all around the area so you can use the pool & patio area all night. The covered area is next to the pool with a large comfortable sofa set & large coffee table. Other chairs & tables to use there. There is also a largish charcoal BBQ.

All the bedlinen and towels are included in the villa. Guests are asked to provide their own poolside and beach towels please. An extra set of clean bed linen will be provided on request. Villa is cleaned and serviced before each new guests arrive.The villa has air-con in all the bedrooms and lounge, although the villa is quite cool and comfortable enough most of the time with just the ceiling fans. We provide a credit of 10 euros a week for just the air-con use, which for normal use is ample, if more is needed extra meter cards can be provided at 5 or 10 euros each. This is not usually needed. The 3 bedrooms are all on the first floor. The sofa bed is on the ground floor, also the large shower room.

Coast / Beach: The beach is a very easy 20 minutes drive away. There are many beach side restaurants serving food of all types. The food and service is excellent, all at very reasonable prices. The paseo runs infront of the beach for many miles. Great for just walking, roller blading, etc. Stunning Benalmadina award winning marina constructed in the moorish style. Fuengirola with it's huge bar and night life scene. The marina is a great place to have lunch, also many shops, restaurants and much more.

Travel / Distances: Malaga Airport is a very easy 20 minutes drive away. Granada Airport is approx 1hour 30 minutes drive. Car hire is recommended.there is a huge choice of car companies at Malaga Airport. There are two traditional spanish towns close to the villa. A five minutes drive each way. Marbella. Ronda and many small whitewashed county villages within a one hour drive.

Golf / Skiing: Laura golf is two minutes in the car. This course is not too testing. More difficult is Alhaurin golf which was designed by Sevi Ballesteros, a stunning course and club 15 minutes drive away. There are numerous other courses within easy distance. You can go skiing in the Granada/Sierra Nevada area, a new motorway bypass has just opened so you can reach it within 1hr 30 mins.
